Very basic and simplistic treatment while displaying an indifferent attitude. I switched to the Saratoga Physical Therapy Center at 5 Care Lane and it was like night and day. The staff was professional and courteous and performed treatment on my ankle and Thigh muscles including ultra sound and a blood circulation machine to get the swelling down as well as performed strengthening excercises that were much more comprehensive than what I was given at 6 Care lane.

I am happy to report it was a wonderful and totally different experience. The teachers my son had in two classrooms were warm and accommodating. The administration ladies were always helpful and professional. My son came home singing songs and with several crafts on a weekly basis. I saw his language skills develop immensely and he came out of his shell. The food is good here also. Price was extremely fair for what they offer. Unfortunately, we had to leave the area and take him out. I hope to find a place this good in my new town.

I stayed here in June 2025 and it was a very pleasant and helpful experience. Of course with mental health places there are always those few staff members you don't like or don't get along with. That did happen, but I reported it and they handled it accordingly. My favorite part was when we would go to the art room, which we did 3 or 4 days a week. You can make your own ceramics to take home, they'll even fire it for you. Another thing I really liked is that everyone is assigned their own kindle and headphones, so you can watch shows, movies, and listen to music. There is even a staff member who will add on requests for you. If you are trans they allow you to have your own single room, otherwise the rooms are two beds. I believe there are other reasons that would allow you to get a one bedroom as well. The groups are DBT based and presented very clearly, and are very interactive. Some facilitators will talk to the group and get a general idea of each person's situation as it pertains to the topic and use that as a guide. They don't fill up the whole day, and you get plenty of free time to use the kindle, draw, play board games, do puzzles, bead bracelets, origami, play frisbee, etc. There are a lot of activities they have out in the main room, and they even have a Wii. From what I've heard and experienced usually you will meet some pretty cool people you can relate to as well, just be careful and remember you are all there for a reason. The individual therapy was fantastic. My therapist, Cameron, did well adapting to my needs as I was a more complex patient and had different needs than his usual patients. I saw him 2-3 times a week. He would give me worksheets and homework that pertained to my needs, and really helped me improve.

Within two treatments, I was suddenly able to move my arm and turn my head. Over the next 10 weeks I rotated through 5 of the 6 therapists. Each had their own methods, they kept it fresh. They patiently trained me on how to exercise, coached me to not overdo it. I would never have imagined that being anxious to heal could be detrimental, but I researched it, they are right. Everyone was spot-on professional, including the front office. They are also very nice (fun, even) to work with. I thought I would dread PT; I came to look forward to it. I highly recommend High Peak Physical Therapy. Jeff Merrigan and his associates are the best. by the way, I see Randy B's review. Jeff owns the place; he is actually a Dr. of Physical Therapy. When I first walked in, I was very nervous (as I was in great distress). Jeff was the gatekeeper of the PT process. By the end of treatment 2, I was confident I was going to get better. Jeff's an expert, he kept track of my progress. I never met Brandon; I suspect he has moved on. If I ever need PT again, I would not hesitate to come back to High Peaks. As it turns out, a lot of the people I know at the gym also recommend High Peaks.

Both the doctor and physical therapists prepared me for a long term recovery from a sprained Achilles Tendon. The physical therapists I saw during that time were Sara and Nichole. They used various methods in my treatment and assigned exercises I should do outside of therapy. They were encouraging and very supportive. They have a genuine concern for the patient, ask questions and listen. Sara and Nichole are excellent therapists. The office staff was professional and very helpful in scheduling and rescheduling appointments. The office was clean and well maintained. I would definitely return to Regional Therapy Center at Washington Street, if I needed physical therapy. I highly recommend Sara and Nichole.
