Zeke is old school. He knows his stuff, and if you bring him quality garments - he will make you look great in them. He has decades of experience in crafting bespoke suits and shits - so he truly understands what the finished look should be, before he begins. He isn't as smooth or well spoken as those butchers at the mall - but he will deliver amazing results. If you are too cheap to pay for excellent craftsmanship - or trying to turn your suit from Macy's into a Tom Ford.....get over yourself. I recently had an item tailored at Zeke's, and I have to say, I wasn't impressed. He doesn't speak very good english, and it's very difficult to communicate your needs to someone who keeps "yessing" you, very hard to tell if he understands what you really need done. His prices are actually very high for similar work, though the pricing appears on par with competition, he will charge multiple times for the same problem if you have two areas with an issue. For example, two pant legs hemmed and a metal clip/button resewn was quoted at over $45, and these weren't exactly super high quality pants, so I only had some of the stitching done, since I could buy a new pair cheaper. As for the final product, I'd be much happier if the stitch was 100% around, but rather it's only 95% and missing the bit along the hem, so the threads actually came back out within three weeks wearing it. There's also a new hole along the pocket (loose thread pulled out), that wasn't there before, but it's hard to tell if it's just the poor quality of the pants or if this was a mistake by the tailor. Last complaint is that it took him three days to get me the items back, then when I arranged to pick them up at 5pm (right at close) He was not there at 4:45pm, and had already closed up, making me wait the new week to receive my garments instead. read more

Went to Zeke's two weeks ago after reading the good reviews that are on yelp already. I went to have a new suit pants hemmed and the jacket sleeves shortened slightly. During the initial fitting Zeke was quick and professional but I found it difficult to tell if he understood what I was looking for. The pant hem was some of the best I have seen and was well done. The jacket was much less than I hoped for. The sleeves did not fall even across the cuff, which would normally not be a problem to have a tailor fix but I then noticed a small 1/8" patch of stitching on the face of the suit jacket sleeve right above the wrist where a hole had been mended. I asked Zeke about this as it was a new suit that I had brought him but he denied working on that area even though he had just finished altering the sleeves. Pretty disappointing to have a hole in a new suit. read more

Zeke has a background in actually making suits/clothes so when it comes to alterations he's amazing. I brought three new suits to him and he did an incredible job. My wife even commented how nice the suits looked. read more

I will never, ever go back to Zeke again. He was terrible! I brought one ACU jacket and one ACU hat to get ranks and name tapes sewn on to and he absolutely BUTCHERED it. The sizes were all wrong, things were in the wrong place and not centered or falling off the edge. I brought them back with another jacket and hat to compare so he would do it correctly, and he copied the wrong hat and made them both wrong!!! He then proceeded to say none of this was his fault even though I was very clear on what needed to be done. The only good thing was he didn't make me pay when I had him try and fix all his mistakes, thats right, they still aren't up to military regulations. I would never recommend him to anyone. Based on the previous Yelp reviews for Zeke's, I decided to take two jackets in for repairs. He did a great job on both, for a very reasonable price, but I'm giving him 3 stars for the following reasons: - He actually doesn't accept credit cards. - He didn't do one of the repairs because it wasn't necessary, but didn't he also tell me that up front. I found out when I took a look at the jackets after leaving his shop, and had to return to ask him about it. - He didn't have the right amount of change on hand, and tried to use that as way to get a "tip." At first, I didn't understand what he was doing, and managed to pay him the stated amount thanks to the help of another customer who exchanged bills with us. When I returned to the store (to ask about the unsuccessful repair), I gave him a tip - after which he proceeded to give me a hard time about it, as if it was my fault for causing a hassle with the change-making in the first place. I think he needs to understand what a tip really is. When it comes to tailoring, Zeke knows what he's doing. Wish I could say that this is true of his customer service as well. read more

Zeke charges by the hour... I brought a dress in to be altered and he couldn't give me a price, he said.. maybe 2-3 hours... Then, his CC mach. wasn't working.. luckily I randomly had cash on me. OK place, nice guy, real old school tailor. read more

He did a fine job on my pant hems, but I had him bring in the waist of a pair of suit slacks and he really did a poor job on moving one of the belt loops. Now it looks nothing like the others--too high, not to mention he didn't even use the same color thread as was used on the others. I am not joking when I say I could have done a better job myself. And I just might have to fix it myself. Oh, and he doesn't take credit cards either. Not worth driving out of your way for, folks. read more

Worst service and Unreasonably expensive. He skipped around the topic about how much it's going to cost to hem my dress. And when I finally got it out of him it's $48/hour, and he thinks it'll take him at least an hour to hem it, which by that time i thought i might as well hem it myself. And when I told him that he was too expensive he throw my dress back at me and told me to "Get out!" I've never experienced such poor service and rude attitude in my life! I would never go there again and would caution anyone who wants to go there to think twice. read more

Imagine my horror when a bridesmaids dress I had to buy sight unseen arrived less than a week before the wedding (after being on back order from the company) and was too small. Needless to say I was freaking out. I called Zeke' s at 1:59 (they were closing at 2) and he answered! I explained my dilemma and he said to bring the dress in and he'd see what he could do for me. He stayed well past closing to come up with a solution. Obviously it's much harder to make a dress bigger than smaller and this was a tricky material to work with and color match. He told me what he could do and promised to have it done in time for the wedding. The dress wound up fitting perfectly and his pricing was so reasonable. I probably would have paid $1,000 if he asked me too! Highly recommend. read more

Zeke is a master tailor who has altered for us men's suits and shirts and women's coats and slacks. I tend to buy online knowing that in all likelihood my next stop will be Zeke's. He has transformed "off the rack"into custom look garments. read more
