When I saw them served on a neighbors' table, I was very very intimidated. I calculated one pizza for the 4 of us, but we couldn't decide on just 2 flavors, so we went for 2 pizzas. TWO. I felt the anxiety building up, wasting food is a sin... but how would we manage??
Veggie/Blanca pizza came out, followed shortly with a full 4xcombo. We took some selfies, smiling but nervous, but also eager for the challenge as pizza smells wafted to our noses. Took some hunting to find some pizza cutters, and like a beautiful cake, we were initially hesitant to slice it apart. There's chili oil if you want to add some spicy frosting.
I remember the first bite. I could distinguish between the aromatic bread, the savory cheese of the sauce, the smokiness of the eggplant... and the cumulative flavors melting in my mouth. Yes, pizzas can melt. WOW. Excuse my american, but it was really f*ing good.
Then I couldn't stop. I shoved slice after slice, inhaling air and pizza in equal parts, landing mascarpone all over my face. Crusts were thrown to the side, piled like animal bones, until more than half the pizza was savagely consumed. (The smaller half was taken in by my cousin, who was politely cutting her pizza into bite-sized pieces, fork and knife style. Think Beauty and the Beast).
Staff is slow because its extremely busy, and we barely fit in the tight tables in back, but these pizzas are absolutely 100% worth it.
