These energies can lead to depression, pains in the body, and a general feeling of anxiety. The reiki practioner targets these energies and helps release them. I took my pre-teen daughter to Kass because she's been begging to get her ears pierced for years. This was post-hurricane Helene and the shop was in perfect order. The reception staff were very friendly and sweet with my daughter (who was very nervous). Kass walked us through the process while completing the sterilization/setup. She patiently answered all of my daughter's questions (before and after piercing). She walked her through breathing and made it clear she could come back another time if she got too nervous. I was extremely impressed with the professionalism and knowledge. So glad I found them instead of doing this at the mall. I'll start by saying, I love the piece that I got done. It is what I wanted, maybe not exact, but I'm happy about it. From start to finish - I filled out the questionnaire online and selected my artist 3 weeks prior to my trip. I indicated that I wanted to pay $20 extra for 3 designs to choose from via text or email AHEAD of my appointment time. I was notified via email by the artist that my appointment was selected and that I could now do my deposit. I placed my deposit and set the appointment time (traveling from out of state to visit my sister in Asheville) A week before my appointment I emailed the artist and asked if everything was on track and if I needed to do anything else to help the design along. No response. The day of my appointment I arrive and check in, fill out the waiver and wait. The artist came out approx 20 min later with 1 sketch of my design and was visibly annoyed when I tried to give feedback indicating changes and in accuracies based on my initial request. I had a phrase requested with my design and when I asked for a more scripted girly font was immediately told "I don't do any kind of writing in my work, you won't find a single post on my instagram with words" - I am completely aware each artist has their niche, however when booking the appointment I researched each artist and based on the floral style I had in mind (and response from the artist via email) I assumed that it would be ok prior to putting down my deposit. I should have probably just left at that point, I had a very uneasy feeling. Now, after sorting out the majority of changes needed I got back to the room and the phrase was still wrong on the stencil. Again, I am pleased with the piece I had done. A memorial to a loved one lost (sunflower)with my own personal go-to reminder phrase(Bible verse) but I would have just appreciated a little more communication, especially since that seemed to be expectation from the initial email "I'll be with you every step of the way" It really felt like my piece was designed after I walked in the door at the time of my appointment. I will say, the artist was very kind, sweet and seemed very personable otherwise. She seemed to be interested and listened to my story, but I was only there for a couple hours and I doubt she remembers me or my piece that is so very dear to me after that. The place is small, but the people are really friendly and super helpful with answering questions. They made you feel super welcome, even for my friends that came with me. She is so so so knowledgeable about her art and she spent 45 minutes with me picking out a new piercing plan. Stopped in on a whim with my fiancé and best friend from college - my fiancé and I had seen their various artists' work online and hoped to get matching tattoos but failed to plan ahead with an appointment or solidified idea. To our delight they were able and willing to squeeze us into the day and their artist, Charlie, was more than happy to tattoo not only my fiancé but my best friend as well, and even stayed past closing to get us all done. Charlie did a phenomenal job on all our tattoos from conceptualization to execution- his line work was clean and efficient and his attention to detail was appreciated by all. The entire staff was incredible and accommodating - the three of us blabbed and laughed and had a great time catching up as we were tattooed. We did our best to be mindful of not getting too loud or rambunctious and asked several times if we were a nuisance, but were reassured that we were fine. It seemed the staff enjoyed having us there and joined in with our conversations even! The entire experience was phenomenal and I can't recommend this place enough. The shop up front was super rad, the gal at the front who checked us in was incredibly kind and attentive, the waiver process was easy peasy, and the cost was more than fair. Came here based on glowing reviews across google and Yelp. My friends and I were extremely disappointed. We arrived right after opening and were told we had to make an appointment for later in the afternoon, which we thought was reasonable. We arrived five minutes before our scheduled appointment time and had to wait 30 minutes for our piercer, which we didn't expect, but it wasn't the end of the world, just a bit disappointing. During our wait time, we inquired at the front desk what some of the unlabeled earrings were made of, and we did not get a solid response, (they were maybe made of titanium? But definitely not surgical steel) which is unnerving when you are going to be putting it into your body. In addition, we asked about pricing for getting a double lobe piercing first and the front desk could not give us an answer. The pricing was unavailable anywhere online and was only located at one small sign in the shop, which was unclear and confusing. In addition, there seemed to be a piercing station out in the open, including uncovered isopropyl alcohol (which should never be used on a piercing) and squares of paper towel which were NOT sterile. Also, the shop is full of spiritual items which were heavily overpriced, and lots of the crystals were likely fake, suspicious or dyed. After this, we were wary of the piercings, but waited to talk to the piercer themself. The piercer informed us that the total price for two basic lobe piercings with the cheapest jewelry would be $115 dollars before tax and tip. For those of whose who don't know, this is extremely overpriced (about double) what you can get at other piercing shops. Overall, we were extremely disappointed by this shop and would not recommend the trip. The staff was kind to us, but the products were not to our satisfaction, and we decided not to get the piercings out of an abundance of caution and severity of price. We cannot speak about the tattoos at all however, get your piercings somewhere else. read more

She was not able to do my tatt herself, but put me in touch with one of the artists that was available. I went in the next day and loved the atmosphere,very clean and tranquil. Each artist has their own private booth area, which is a big plus to me. The artist (Kylie) greeted me and was very sweet throughout the whole session. If I saw my tattoo on anyone else walking down the street, I'd be so jealous but it's mine and I get to carry it around forever! :) Had the honor of being tattooed by Rebecca, so incredibly talented, sweet, and collaborative. Coming from out of state for that hand drawn botanical look I've been dying to achieve, it put me at ease that she worked with me on the design the week leading up to my appointment. Blown away at her willingness to create and get my feedback. Out of all my tattoos I've never been so involved in the design and was never 100% happy because the artist never truly listened. Rebecca 100% listens!! So important! She took an existing tattoo I had, re-worked it as a part of a new piece and weeks later I'm still just as in love and blown away by how beautiful and delicate it is. Exactly what I wanted. When you walk in you're greeted with soft music and a quiet atmosphere giving you more of a spa experience than a traditional tattoo shop. My experience was amazing! Predominantly a female shop, these ladies kick ass! I was in town for my birthday and woke up deciding I wanted a tattoo. Our waitress at brunch recommended this place and it didn't disappoint. It's mostly by appointment only but Sierra was able to fit me in at the end of the day; stayed about an hour after closing. I just wanted a simple monogram but she took the time to design it out and add extra elements to it; block lettering and shading. She did a great job and was thoroughly entertaining the whole time! The shop vibe was super chill and everyone was friendly and upbeat. My wife was impressed by their Henna artist River and ended up booking her for a session. River's work was also excellent. Popped in without an appointment on a Tuesday at 12:45ish. My wife and I just got married and wanted matching tattoos (relatively small, one-word tattoos), and she also wanted to add a roman numeral to an existing tattoo. Again, these were very simple tattoos, but regardless Cesar took his time to make sure the placement was perfect and lines were smooth. Side note, the atmosphere of this place is awesome.
