I'm super new to the rock climbing world, and was even afraid of heights when starting here 2 months ago. My husband and I have the monthly passes and we try to go 2x/week. I'm now no longer afraid of climbing and am really starting to look forward to going and challenging myself at the gym. The facility is almost always packed, but if you go early in the day or later in the evening it isn't so chaotic. In our couple months of being here they've changed the holds on the walls at least twice. Maybe three times. I like that they don't change everything all at once so you get a chance to do some ones you know while trying new ones. I like how you can purchase or rent anything you would need here. The employees are very kind and helpful. And the community of climbers are very encouraging and also equally kind and helpful. It's a great place to come if you're interested in climbing or learning to climb. read more

I spent the afternoon here July 13th, 2021. The climbing is fine but who wants to spend any chunk of time this close to a cell phone tower while being bathed in artificial blue light? I recommend an outdoor climbing facility further away from multidirectional microwaves. read more

Really fun wall setup, but seems like the routes don't get reset/ cleaned very often. Or maybe my gym at home just does it more often than what is normal? Many of the holds were super chalked up which made them kinda slippery. The rating system for difficulty of routes was also different from what I've experienced other places. My wife and I still had a TON of fun climbing here and the atmosphere was awesome. The guys working were super friendly, and the layout of the gym was rad. Would totally recommend this place to climb. Just be prepared to spend a good bit of money on your climbing pass (+gear rentals if you need them) and to climb routes a bit more challenging, especially with the slippery holds. read more

We had an extra day in Springfield so of course we had to go climbing! My husband and I like to check out climbing gyms whenever we travel and this one did not disappoint. They have a huge variety of top rope, lead climbing and bouldering. There are plenty of problems to work on in all skill levels. They follow the V rating system for their problems. Some of their routes even have several different options with different ratings all starting from the same place. That's something I'm not used to so some were a bit confusing. A day pass for the gym is $15.00. They also have shoe and harness rentals. Pretty standard for a rock gym. The staff was very friendly and helped out if we needed anything. Overall it was a very chill atmosphere and we had a great time. One thing I thought was really cool was they had a screen saying when different routes were going to be changed so you could make sure you could finish the one your working on before its gone! They have their waiver online so I suggest filling it out before you get there to save on time :) read more

Very cool gym to visit. I reside in Florida and climb at the gyms in Tampa and St Pete. It's always fun seeing new gyms. The ratings are pretty similar, you've got some good setters at this gym. This gym is on the smaller side of rock gyms, but still have space for some weights and treadmill if you want some extra workout stuff. The boulder problems get to a good hight and the top rope and lead climbs are stellar. Didn't get a chance to lead climb on this visit but going through some problems in my head looked like a lot of fun. There is a good amount of free space in the gym, random games, sitting area, group party area, showers and clean restrooms. The crash floors here are pretty soft. There is a good amount of seating around the bouldering problems, so you can watch others climb or think of your own beta. Most gyms ppl just sit on the floor. It's a good rock gym. Oh yeah, good amount of gear for sell here too. I feel like first timer may feel a little overwhelmed with all the colors and the routes. Which lead me to one of my dislikes, the problem layout can be pretty confusing at some points. Some route colors are too close and intersect with other color of very similar color. Like pink and red and orange, when these rocks get dirty it is hard to beta the problem. To compound this issue some routes have two or three problems connected to them. Very cool concept, reminds me of outdoor climbing, but very confusing with similar colors overlapping. All in all I had a great experience here and will definitely return when back in the area. If you're thinking about rock climbing don't be afraid to check this place out, the staff here seem pretty cool. read more

Zenith has better route setting than any gym I've climbed at. It forces movement that will often be used on outdoor rock, making it a great place to train. The route grades are also more difficult than other gyms, which is why people have started saying "It's a Z-grade", when something is harder to climb than expected for the grade placed on it.This adds an aspect of challenge for more experienced climbers, but there are also plenty of routes for beginners.The atmosphere is inviting and colorful! Took my daughter in and she struggled until she realized there was a slide atop the kids section. Staff was great with getting her fit for a harness and shoes Wish the membership was a bit more affordable. Since Petra closed, this place is a welcome sight! read more

We were recently looking for a fun and unique venue for a 9 year old birthday party and decided on rock climbing at Zenith. With over 25 kids in attendance and close to 60 people including adults, they were able to facilitate our needs way beyond expectation. I can't thank them enough for such a wonderful experience from both a staffing angle and a facility angle. The team at Zenith excelled at providing a clean, safe and fun environment while doing an exceptional job at challenging the participants with positivity and encouragement. Phenomenal climbing gym. Great setting on walls by staff, workout area, training area, yoga room...this is an all in one gym for climbing enthusiasts. My favorite is that on Tuesday and Friday nights they have an "Adult Team" class where you can train with your peers. This takes the monotony out of training days and you make new friends.
