Totally unprofessional and disorganized…read more First problem: we didn't find out until a few days before our finance contingency was set to expire that that the appraisal had never happened. According to Guaranteed Rate, the sellers had refused the appraiser entry to the property. A note that we only found this out because we reached out to them and not the other way around. We later found out from the sellers directly that they had never been contacted by an appraiser (we suspect GR dropped the ball and never scheduled an appraiser). Second problem: they lost our documents multiple times: we were, at one point, asked to resubmit some documents for the 4th time. Third problem: they failed to follow up on questions we had multiple times. At one point, a closing cost that was supposed to be taken care of by the seller was assigned to us. When we questioned, we didn't get an answer until over 24 hours later, which, in turn, resulted in a pushing back of our closing date. They also, wrongly, tried to push us into signing the inaccurate document, claiming that it could be "fixed" at closing. Fourth problem: Because of all of the above, we came very close to being fined by the sellers for delaying closing multiple times. Fifth problem: Despite very clearly telling them to leave me alone, they keep contacting me, trying to get me to refinance with them. After our experience in buying a home, we will never do business with them again.

She had no solid knowledge regarding the requirements of the loan she was offering me. After going to her on 3/18/2013 to refinance, and her pulling my credit a few days after, I was told that I was denied the loan due to a low credit score on 5/15/2013. They had my score for over TWO months! But since Christine "wasn't aware" there was a minimum score requirement for the program she was enrolling me in, it just sat there. A more knowledgeable loan officer would have known and perhaps worked with me on improving my score ( I missed the minimum by 15 points!). This is also after the fact that there was a lot of confusion about the locked interest rate. A stressful and lengthy process was made even more stressful and lengthy by her lack of knowledge. Whenever something came up on either side, he was easy to get a hold of and rectify the situation. Subsequently, I have refinanced twice as mortgage rates dropped (I bought before the market tanked) and each was as easy as the original. Though Tim has moved up to the main office, I would go back if we decided to purchase another home.
