I sent a letter explaining the situation they refused to give me a credit. I had to pay to ship the dress to them and then additional 17.00 for them to ship it back.. I will never wear this dress. It was the first time I ordered from this company. Very disappointed in their customer service. Don't order from this company if your item doesn't work out they only issue store credits. NO refunds.

Lucky for me, that shop was Forema and they have not succumbed to the Park Avenue tax (which only exists in my head and not with the state or city) so there were affordable options! There are plenty of racks of clothes and gifts but what called to me was the jewelry. Each piece was unique and there was something for everyone. Though it leans pretty boho chic, I imagine even the preppiest of sorority girls (Rollins) would find something to fawn over. I ended up buying a few necklaces, each priced at under $20, and a few tiny rings. Though the necklaces aren't real gold or silver, I see similar designs at stores nearby (and online) for ridiculously inflated prices. One necklace I wore even into the shower eventually lost its gold sheen and turned a dark silver, but I actually dig the look and am still happy with it. Overall, I'm thankful for a place on the avenue that caters to a broader economic audience at least.

There was a Llama Poncho that was handmade in the '40s on the same rack as other items ranging from the 20s to the 80s, so cool to see history through clothing! I love to shop here for shoes and clothing brands that I love at more affordable prices. Most recently I was looking for leather loafers for work and shorts for summer. I was able to find both! I got some very comfortable Cole Haan loafers and a couple pairs of athletic shorts/skorts, plus a pair of jean shorts. They had some really cute pajamas as well, but I used self control and did not purchase them. I also love to shop here for toddler shoes for my son. They have discounted Adidas, Converse, New Balance, etc. in his tiny size and they are just adorable.

They even have a cool overhang on the East side of the store so if it's raining, you can drop people off or pick them up. Once inside, the store is yours! The merchandise is kind of spread out like they don't have enough to fill the store properly, but I kind of like it in comparison of having clothes jammed into tight spots. There's rarely a line to check out and you can usually order something if they don't have your size (which is a big possibility). I usually end up here in the afternoon as I would probably be murdered here if I came at night. But in the daytime, I feel comfortable here.

I came here specifically for a blue dress that I needed for an event and I really didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for it especially since I was more than likely going to wear it one time. Well guess what? I found the blue dress and it only cost me $35. It was originally $119. It was perfect for the blue and white themed December to Remember event we had at the office. I got a lot of compliments on the dress which I paired with a faux fur white coat (also a budget purchase) and some chucks. I can't wear heels all day... don't judge me. So if you're looking for something nice but on a budget like me, check out this Macy's. You'd be surprised at what you can find. Happy shopping!
