Lots of parking and close to transit. There's not much space between the courts and the lines for the courts by the walls are tight such that you might scratch your racket so if you are reserving over the phone, be sure to ask for the middle courts, when possible to maximize your experience. The floor is smooth; no issues with the flooring. Overall, still a good spot to go if you're looking to play badminton with a group of people. Lots of picnic tables for your gear and to rest. Very group friendly.

The interior is quite large, and surprisingly doesn't echo too badly. Must be because of the mats they use in the courts. It makes the game a lot more comfortable than playing on bare concrete. The website advertises it as a "floating floor system". This is worth a special mention as it does take some of the strain off your legs. The staff are VERY anal about keeping this floor in top shape (must've been expensive to buy and install), so there is a "non-marking sole" rule that is quite tightly enforced. They actually check your shoes before letting you in the playing area. And there is a $100 fine if you play with the wrong shoes and mark up the floor. They mean business. Some of my friends complained that the ambient temperature was too cold (I would say it was 10-15C), but I actually found it quite pleasant. Sure it's cold when you first come in, but it also ensures that you don't cook after a couple of intense rounds. There are also plenty of tables, chairs, and benches for you to leave your gear while you play. There are also security cameras throughout the building and parking lot so hopefully your car won't get broken into. One last thing: the girl working here speaks somewhat crappy English, so hopefully you have a Taiwanese friend with you. Not sure if it was the same person when I called in a few days ago, but there was quite a disconnect between the questions I asked about the facility and the answers I received. One of the better places to play baddy for sure. Recommended.

There are more spots around the far side of the building, but it's a bit of a walk. There are 13 courts. 12 in the main area, and a 13th one hidden in a corner, through an opening in the back wall. See pic. The floor here is nice in the way that it's softer than concrete, but the problem is that the flooring is uneven. They use rolls of linoleum, and the seams are in the middle of the courts. Thank goodness nothing actually sticks out. The venue was nice and cool, but it was winter at the time. Not sure how good the ventilation is during the summer months. Hopefully the place doesn't bake. Lastly, there is also a nice huge store for badminton goodies here, though I didn't shop. But they probably do your typical services such as restringing your racquet, or selling you badminton-related sports equipment.

Most likely cause it's very hard to reach using public transit. We arrived around 5 min before our booking time. The front staff asked for our proof of vaccination before letting us in. They have a lot of court, and it's very clean, but the floor is a bit slippery. The staff does not care whether you use dark coloured sole shoes; non marking is optional. There are rest bench for every court, labelled with the court number. We could play badminton match without wearing our mask. Washroom is very clean; a lot of amenities, there are two of changing room, two shower rooms, and lockers. Seems like you can buy necessary stuff t the front desk like racket, shuttlecock, shoes, and water, but minimum charge with card is $5.

This review is for the gym only. I pay $25/month for use of the gym/fitness area, showers and…read morelocker room. The gym has almost everything you will need to get your workout on. The cardio room is packed with treds, bikes, seated belt rower, elliptical machine and I think a stair climber. The weight room could use a few more key benches and one or two more machines. I mainly go around 7:30am-8am. There tends to be the same group of people everyday getting in a game of squash, badminton or fitness before work. It's never been packed and I've not had to wait for any machine or weights yet. I plan on speaking with them about putting in some new benches/machines, I'll have to write a follow up review to that conversation and outcome. I signed up for a year and don't see why I wouldn't sign up for another.

All in all, I've been pleased when I go there. I'm not a member, i go with a coworker that is a guest and play there when my squash league plays the home team. Had such a fun time at West Coast Mini Putt! I loved the glow-in-the-dark section--it was such a…read morefun twist--and the different putt routes kept the game exciting. The course is creative, well-maintained, and full of little challenges that make it more than your average mini golf. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole place has a great, relaxed vibe. Even if you're not a mini golf pro, it's just fun to play and laugh through. Can't wait to come back!
