Traditional Swiss country restaurant which is part of a mixed farm that sells its produce at an attached market, complete with homemade jams and preserves. This is NOT your tourist place. My wife grew up in this area and has been coming here since she was a teenager, just a few years ago (one must be diplomatic about these things). We had lunch there a few days ago and the food is as good as ever - arguably the best rosti in the Basel area! They have the original ceramic wood heater on one side of the room, and an outdoor seating area if you want to bask in the sun - AND you know you are on a farm, because the horses can't be far away.
