I've been managing a chronic issue for a number of years, and Dr. Levine stays on top of the situation, alerts me to potential issues, leverages his referral network to get me into specialists in a matter of days, not months. Recently I was traveling and had to have emergency surgery and was hospitalized for several days. I alerted Dr. Levine and he was in non stop communication with me. He, more than the doctors and nurses at the hospital, explained what was happening to me and what to expect in the future. He texted me every day, sometimes multiple times in the day, to check on me. He arranged follow up visits for me with specialists when I got home. He made a bad and scary situation manageable. To me, there is no one better to manage your overall health and wellness. The doctors at St Anthony hospital (IMO the worst hospital in the Tampa Bay/St Petersburg area) decided not to operate because at 90 her bones won't heal. They are going to go with what they call "bag of bones" and just let it heal on its own. Dr Heitner at All Florida explained the reasons they decided to go with that route. Mostly because mom hates Doctors and hospitals and won't do therapy or take pain pills, but complains of the pain and discomfort constantly. She is the worst patient in the world.
