If you are looking for a Christ centered church that genuinely cares about those that attend…read moreservices then Cornerstone would be a good choice. A fairly young congregation (many UVA students) with a heart for God. Pastor Toni is on point and doesn't have you checking your watch to see when the service is over or having you fight to stay awake. He's engaging and entertaining with the message but scripturally based. The music is contemporary and the church is far from "dead". There is a youth group that meets Sunday night, a Sunday school, and a nursery. There are several small groups that meet through the week too. God is definitely alive in this ministry. They do have great parking volunteers! I felt the worship service is very scripted and attracts more a younger generation! Extremely visual! It's very contemporary! I felt like I was in a concert! At least 25 minutes of worship songs! They have a full band and film team ! It's a major production! We got to hear the senior pastor and it was about the next generation! They thing that I focus during the sermon was the very very big screen! I couldn't focus on the pastor. We sat in the back row as visitors! The service felt like the word of God was preach and opportunity for salvation was offered! If you are a young believer you will probably fit in . As for a senior, it felt weird to me ! It just felt like a very big production! I did like it. I would say it worth a visit! Our service went to 70 minutes, they state on their website 65 minutes. I didn't find that a bing deal! Sermon movies quickly! I wanted to take pictures of the screen for notes .

Eat in or drive up take out options are available for a nice meal out with friends or family or a convenient take away. Portions are big, so is the fish itself.

I pass this church all the time so I thought I would post it since its truly one of my favorites to look at. Not that a list needs to be made of the coolest looking churches in VA/DC, but if it were this church would be included. ~
