It's a sports newspaper and to be honest, it's impossible for me to follow sports stats, teams, leagues, etc. You miss a day and all your stats are off. But it has news on everything gaming: poker rooms, slot clubs, hotels and staff members you should know about. There are even articles about gaming hints, video poker, slot hosts. The article I have even has an article about the fading trend of Keno runners and how another piece of Vegas history is being lost by technology. Okay, someone needs to open a casino with all felt games, and manual coins, a casino that is run by people and not machines. The novelty alone will bring hoardes of locals in alone and bring back the senior crowd I'm betting. And make people- guest- wear shirts and ties on the floors. I could go on... A neat thing the paper does is that you can flip it over. It doesn't have a back cover. The second half of the paper is written upside down. I actually like that if you hate trying to catch the second half of the paper with your thumb to flip a page to the next. the second half of the paper is called Slots Today. Hey, when I go to a locals casino, I like to make it a full day - including dining and films or a show. This guy takes on what I should see - he knows his films and personally sees them! It is not a review of a film from someone who 'thinks' they know how to do a good film review - it is an honest audience member reaction to a film, whether it be a low budget one or a blockbuster one! He is funny - has charm - and I love that bit about his dog, Zozo. We all need a Zozo in our lives - and Monti Rock III makes me happy when I read his weekly column. Then I start to read all the rest - where I should look in odds and wagers. This is a great newspaper - wish it was more widespread - and since I like holding a paper and reading it - please, can you print more copies - as the reviewer before me said - they get wiped out too quickly! The station has always seemed inclusive and yet, smooth jazz listeners are not being given the opportunity to hear what we love most -- (non-religious) jazz music. Is there a religious agenda happening or is someone convinced that there was too much great jazz music in the world? An occasional holiday song or two isn't a problem but..c'mon. There are those of us who don't do the religion part and you are telling us to take a hike. Please stop and play what we've come to enjoy from your channel. I've been listening to it consistently within the past few years (expanded it to be "Jazz and more"- I'm a big fan of smooth jazz. Weekend hours feature island music - limited hours (a big fan of this since we've been longtime visitors to the Hawaiian islands). I really like Galaxy Glen's positive vibe. I wanna say I know of him since the 1990s, maybe from another station. I also like the personalitiies in the morning too, The Queen of Flow, Carleah (I know her from another station too) & Kevin, John N (I don't know how to spell his name, sorry). Anyhoo, since the fornat has changed to "Jazz and More", I think that it's really improved a lot. I like hearing the nice mix of music (from DeBarge to Kool & The Gang to Earth, Wind & Fire to Sade- you really don't hear this too much on the other stations). I have a wide variety of music that I like to listen to, especially on my morning & evening commute. Thanks for bringing Jazz and More to the Las Vegas community. I love your station. Keep it up!

This company has terrible communication and customer service. My company was looking for someone…read moreto be a long term vendor for all vehicle wraps and printing items. When i initially met with them and asked them for a price quote for our small box trailer they quoted me $900.00 out the door. They stated that they would take the vehicle on Friday afternoon and we could pick it up 8:00 AM Monday morning. The morning we were supposed to deliver the vehicle I received a message to call the a new person with the company. I called for that person and he was not available. Instead I spoke to the graphic artist handling my job and he did not know of any reason why this other person would call. The whole day goes by, I leave the office and receive a message from our answering service stating this person called again. I called back and this time the person answered and he started by stating he didn't have all the graphics he needed, and he wanted an addition $250.00 for design when they original email initiating the wrap stated if I brought down the 50% deposit for the wrap they could initiate the design. After much back and forth I agreed to the design fee and told them I would send the graphic as soon as I got to a computer. I sent the graphic to the company around 7:30PM Friday night. I got no response all weekend, and called the office several times to find out the status of the wrap. It was not until Monday morning that I found out that they did not like the quality of the photo I sent and did not do anything with the wrap. So my work trailer sat there all weekend. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt and worked with them to get the design components they needed to complete the design that I had now agreed to pay for. (I had already provided a sample layout, the logos, all the graphics and photos) They were approved early Friday morning to proceed again with the design and the trailer was delivered to them mid day. They kept the trailer the entire weekend, and Monday morning were not ready when my guy showed up. My field employee did not inform of this until 4:30 that afternoon and when I called them they were very dismissive about the fact that they completely dropped the ball and failed to call us. This was yesterday. The trailer was not done until 10:00 this morning, and the work is terrible. They put the latch for the trailer on incorrectly, they claimed they didn't know the trailer had a door (it sat in their office for two weekends in a row!) so they left and 6"white strip on the door. In addition, n one called to apologize or address the lack luster customer service or the shotty workmanship. Do not use this company!

I've been listening to this station for many, many years. It's one of the few stations that has…read morelasted, besides 98.5 but I don't listen to that station anymore. The music is alternative/mix format- Nickelback, Lifehouse, Sara Bareilles, Maroon 5 (one of my favorites), Katy Perry (another favorite of mine), Train, Pink, Rob Thomas, etc. Sometimes I will hear Carrie Underwood. Yes, at times, it seems that the same play list is used over and over, but you can always change the station for more variety (you do have that choice.) I am lucky enough to have XM as a choice at my workplace, so if I want early alternative (one of the music types I grew up with) called 'New Wave' I can listen to it, whenever I want. I really enjoy the "Mark & Mercedes in the morning" show (weekdays/ weekends play repeats, sometimes). I've been a fan for all these years. The topics of conversation are thought-provoking as well as being funny and entertaining- kinda like one of my favorite shows of all time "Sex & The City." I like the witty banter of two people that seem down to earth and I can relate to their point of views. Enter their verbage: the BOD (wink wink nudge nudge- if you're a true fan, you'd know it.) They bounce off of each other, is what I mean. I saw Mercedes pose for pictures at the last Bite, and she seemed so nice, not snotty at all- I like that. When listeners call in, it adds another dimension to the show. I've called in a few times myself. It's a funny show and I enjoy it. I am, however, growing tired of JC's never- ending commercials for laser hair removal- I mean, c'mon already! He's like the Glen Lerner of/in radio. And the delivery is a little like wooden skates, not natural at all. Blair adds the youthful perspective, as she is the youngest contributor to the show, though she sounds more tattooed than the average person/listener. There are so many events that they sponsor that I enjoy going to, like Pet-A-Palooza & Bite of Las Vegas. Both venues encourage drives to benefit the community (nonperishable canned foods to donate). The station also does a Four Corners Food Drive every year. The station is an asset to our community- our community is better with all their efforts and contributions.
