Service at this location is less than stellar with the employees never spraying or brushing off the front as you enter the wash, they just press the button and run quickly back inside to sit at the desk. The equipment seems to never be 100% as today being a perfect example with the left tire brush on exit being broken and not spinning. It appears even when the tire cleaner is working that a 3 year old kid could do better at cleaning and shining the tires and the wheels never are clean on exit. I am completely blown that I spent $25 and the outside of my car isnt even clean. I e been going to automatic washes for years and this is a first. First thing I noticed, only the $25 wash comes with the interior vacuuming, I already found that odd. I pushed forward, went in and as my car was pushed through, it felt like it was damaging my tires or rims.. that track system is off, it almost rolled me into the suv behind me. I have a zips membership and frequent the locations off of cone and battleground. I was driving my husbands car which does not have a sticker and was running errands on the other side of town. This location does not take tap pay however the attendant was helpful and accommodating. I don't usually come to this location but very pleased with the service provided. BEWARE of fraud with this business!! My husband used this car wash in Oct. Dec they charged his card $22.50 , but he hadn't been there. They reversed the charge, so we thought, in the office, and said an employee was caught doing this and was fired. He was given several free washes. He returned to use the free car washes and they refused them. Jan., they charged him $45 and once again, he hadn't been there. I have been with zips pretty much since they opened. Here lately been having issues. seems like things are not working at times, like vacuum breaking down all the time. Now, they received a payment for both of my vehicles. I went through to get a car wash. It did not let me in. Said my payment was declined. When it obviously showed in my bank account that they took the money out and it cleared.. the home office situation was not resolved. So now they have my money and I have no car wash for the month. That's a total of $90. So today I canceled both memberships and be going with someone else. We found a company that family owned and cares a lot about their customers. I Deal straight with them and do not have to go through corporate. So zips has lost my business for good. I do not recommend this business for anyone.. I purchased the special a few months ago and continued with the plan for $35 a month, and although there was ALWAYS soap left on my car, I prefer to detail myself. They recently charged me an additional $5, which i missed, for 3 months, including this month. When I contacted them about the extra charge, the system was updating and they could not access the billing - and no idea when it would be ready. I asked to cancel the service. I received a response that it was canceled with no comments on the overcharges. I even asked for a response to the overcharges - crickets. They don't even list the price point they were charging me! This place has cones on most of the stalls, only one vacuum hose style available, it used to be two, and always filthy. So I guess I take the loss and move on? They will not last. Horrible. Been a member since the day this site opened. I just had the worst experience ever at this car wash with the so called manager. I approached him with kindness and respect about a possible problem i thought might have happened inside the car wash where my car was dented and scratched and if he could pull the video super nice about it. He was so disrespectful would not communicate saying his machines could not dent it would not walk outside and look at it told me to leave his business and not come back and I was looking to get something fixed for free. This car wash was previously Wiki Wash, and all that has changed is the name. As a matter of fact, it could really use some work. A lot of the bays were blocked off, and the only ones working had water dripping from the roof. No matter how much I dried my car, it was be wet again. (Very frustrating!) The wash itself was okay. I paid for the works, but the buffers were not working at all. No products are provided - nothing! No towels, no window cleaner, nothing. Zips Car Wash took over the Wiki-Wiki wash. I would have thought the only difference would have been the signage, but there appears to be more to the change than just signs. For one, the wash options are more limited and Zips doesn't appear to offer the buy one get another at a reduced price. I liked that option with Wiki Wiki and typically would buy the second wash. Our cars were not nearly as clean as with Wiki Wiki. Something in the wash must have changed, and not for the better. The wash also was rough on our side mirrors. A sign warns you to pull your mirrors in if possible and you'd better do it! Almost tore both side mirrors off my SUV. That was never an issue with Wiki Wiki. Greensboro is being inundated with these car washes and I believe I'll try some others rather than return to Zips. read more

I would AVOID using this car wash. Here's why: I have a brand new (it's a 2024 vehicle) that was scratched after leaving this car wash in 3 different locations. I reached out to see if the car wash could do anything to remedy the situation, and a representative responded with a standard boilerplate statement -- not giving any merit to my claim that their equipment could cause any damage. Adding insult to injury, the car wash did not clean the car well either. I realize that not all cars will experience the damage I experienced while using Zips Car Wash, but for those who aren't part of the lucky bunch, I would NOT expect the car wash staff capable of remedying the situation to acknowledge that their machines could have caused ANY damages. Tried this car wash on Patterson street in Greensboro for the first time and was very disappointed. Several of the rollers/cleaners were not even turning. They left a ton of road grime on my vehicle even after I paid for one of their higher priced washes. Would not recommend or go to again!!!! Whoever owns this dump hires the wrong people to manage his business. The workers don't care. I paid $20 for "the works" and my wheels were still filthy when I came out. Car still has a lot of dirt on it. I don't know what's wrong with their system but it doesn't work very well. Most of the vacuums are turned off. Ever since it changed from fins to zips it has gone downhill. Hardly anybody washes her car here anymore. Unresponsive employees is the biggest complaint however. They just sit around playing on their phones and act like you're bothering them if you've got a question. read more

This is the dirtiest in car wash in Greensboro. Do not get the membership it is not worth the 45.00. Less than half the vacuums work. They do not turn on the vacuums on rainy day per company policy. ZERO STARS!!! The wash doesn't work and management doesn't take responsibility for it! I am from out of town. Ran through for the $18 wash. Went through and when we got to the end I noticed the blowers did not work at all. And when done my car was still full of soap! So I went back around and they told me to just go through again. I did, but paid more attention this time. We got to the sign for the "hot wax" but my car was completely still engulfed with soap. It was NEVER rinsed off. But this time the blowers worked so some of the soap was "blown" off. I went around again. The girl at the entrance said I could go through AGAIN. Doesn't matter how many times I go through if it doesn't work. The manager was walking passed so I stopped him. Showed him all the blue soap on my car. I explained I don't think your rinse is working. He said, it is. I said clearly there seems to be a problem because look at my car. He said maybe it was because of the roof rails. Insisted his equipment works. I explained the car was completely engulfed in soap when we got to the blowers and he said that's not how it works. I said exactly. He just stood there. Next to my soapy car saying his rinse works. I asked him to get into my car and take it through himself. He said no. I explained I was afraid the blue soap would stain my car. I finally asked if he had a bucket of water at least to rinse it off. He pointed me to a cart and said there is paper towel and windex over there if you want. I was flabbergasted. I just had to leave at that point. He was clearly NOT going to take responsibility for his wash nor rectify the situation. We drove 5 min away to a do it to it self serve wash to rinse. I bought the top dollar wash for 30 bucks dude inside will not spray the bugs off my truck even though I asked him to because I've been on the road for 12 hours. I tried to use the mat cleaner machine and the guy talked me out of it for no reason set up machine it's gonna break. I'm so tired of going to American businesses and seeing that they're hiring the bottom of the barrel intelligence. Everywhere I go almost especially this place. The staff is like zombies. Please take this warning. A couple of months ago I took my car through this car wash. My wheel came off the track. Other than being a terrifying experience it also did $1244.10 of damage to my vehicle. We filled out an incidence report and the manager, Terrell Griffen called me a few days later to let that their "wheel mechanism malfunctioned" and that they would pay for our damages. He asked me to send the quote to his email, get the damaged repaired and then send an invoice to show where it was paid and we would be reimbursed. I guess I'm too naive because I believed him. He has not responded to a single thing since our phone conversation. A couple weeks ago I tried three days in a row to wash my car and each day the car wash was closed and the sun was out each day. I contacted their customer service and received a very generic apology and was told I would be charged $20 for the next three months. Then this month I was charged the full $35 instead. I again contacted customer service and asked for a refund and to cancel my membership bc I have not been happy nor impressed with their service. I was told my membership would be cancelled but they could not issue a refund. I have noticed soap left on the back of my car when leaving several times and most of the time upon arriving I have to wait several minutes for an attendant to come and spray just one side of my car which is a joke in itself. read more

I've had a membership for a few years, and would take my Nissan NV 3500 there on a weekly basis. About 3 months ago the brush came down and damaged the passenger side front quarter panel, and the side brush made quite a few scratches to the paint. A claim was filed on the spot and pictures were taken, and then sent to their claims department who in less than 24 hours denied the claim with what I am assuming is no research and little to no communication. They do not respond to emails or written notification, and the phone service is just as bad. At this point I am planning on filing a small claims case, but am looking for anyone with a similar story to see if a class action suit might be in order. read more

I went to Zips Car Wash On Holden & Patterson for my first time on 3/8/2020. As I was about to enter the car wash I stopped to put my Toyota Sequoia antenna down. When I started out of the car the attendant yelled for me to get back in the car that he had it. Well he sprays my car down and I am watching him and not my antenna at this point. I realized as I was being dragged into the wash that my antenna was still up. Needless to say upon exit my wife who drives this daily said look at my antenna. It was bent over and down across the hood totally destroyed. I went to report it and they wrote up a report and said I would here from the district manager...still waiting.... I called myself today multiple times to get someone to answer. The manager was too busy on the phone to talk to me but his worker informed me that they would not and are not responsible for damage and would not be doing anything about my vehicle. I will not be buying a membership there and advise everyone to go somewhere else if you care about your vehicle. Now for the wash quality. Not too bad as far as the car. I paid extra for the tire shine and much to my disbelief it applies as the car is moving and must be made for go cart tires. My SUV tires only had been covered by the spray about 3/4 of the way around. So now I have a broken antenna, radio static and tires that are 3/4 shiny black then light gray. I had to move to three different vacum areas to find a vacum that actually had some suction. Pretty sad that their customer satisfaction sucks more than their vacums. The absolute worst!!! The workers only spray one side of your car before entering the car wash. The car wash sucks in general. My car was still dirty after entering the car wash. My husband and I have both been members of the "Carwash Club" since the Battleground location opened as Carolina Carwash. Once it was sold to Zips, everything seemed to go downhill. We have given it several months now and instead of getting better, it only gets worse. From broken equipment, dirty towels, numerous vacuums not working, low staff, and even rude staff. The older man that is always there once got angry with husband and told him to never come back. My husband preceded to tell him that we pay a monthly fee and would come everyday if we wanted to. This past week, was our last visit. There seemed to be only one component to the carwash that was working. Both of our vehicles came out as dirty as they went in. I visited this business on Friday and was completely disappointed. When this site was Wiki Wash it was awesome. The wash was poorly done with dirt left on my vehicle and the tires not cleaned even though I paid a premium for the service. The vacuums either didn't work or were so weak they were ineffective (I had to move to a different stall because the first one didn't work at all). There were no cleaning supplies provided other than some dirty towels. Zips removed the floor mat sprayer and replaced it with a machine that will not accept preformed mats. I have 3 vehicles on the unlimited monthly was plan. I signed the last one up on 08/23/2020. Each vehicle is $32.00/month. Paid for it and was told I had to go inside and fill out paperwork. I said, well the other guys filled it out for me and i just signed. Apparently that was wrong, as he told me very nasty. So i go through was, tire shine still not working (even though paid for it), buffers on passenger side don't even touch car. I pulled back around to fill out paperwork inside and also to tell them about issues. Sign on door says mask required, but....none of the # guys had them on. When I asked them where are you're masks, answers varied. In the car, I don't wear one and it's in my pocket. One guy even told me that I had mine on so don't worry about them. I am HIGHLY upset with this company!! Paying almost $100 a month, for services that I can't get because it"s been down for 2 months then have to deal with employees who obviously don't care. Wiki wiki used to put a piece of tape on the back windshield wiper of your car to help protect it from being broken. Zips doesn't do that anymore and as a result broke my back wiper motor and now my wiper hangs like a pendulum over my license plate. I reported the issue 20 minutes after it happened only to be told by the non caring "assistant manager" that he doesn't know how to do an incident report and that I would need to talk to the general manager on the following Monday. I then came back on Monday to be told he would instead be there Tuesday. After finally making contact with the illusive "general manager" after about a week of trying around my work schedule I was told that the cameras only roll back one week and that they would be able to offer me a free year membership but probably wouldn't be able to fix the damage because they had to prove they caused it on their cameras. It is not my fault you have management team members that don't know how to file reports or that your gm never works. I just feel that after waiting around a month for you to fix an issue you caused that this is very unreasonable and this place is terrible compared to wiki wiki. I even asked for corporates number to be told you an employee that they don't have a corporate number and that the company doesn't like the Greensboro location and doesn't care about their employees or customers and that 25 incident reports have been filed and I would be lucky if I received a response in several months. DO NOT use Zips Car Wash, especially in Greensboro, NC. I had a monthly car wash with Wiki Wiki before they changed to Zips. No problems or issues with Wiki Wiki. I have had the impossible task of trying to cancel my monthly wash membership with no luck. I called every Zips in the surrounding area. NO ONE will ever answer the phone. The wash was okay! My tires were not clean at all - still had brake dust. My car front fender and back did not get clean at all. The dryer left some water spots. So, the car did not fully dry. Some of the vacuum bays were blocked. Overall they experience should have been better. read more
