We also had two sandwiches built on slices of nutty brown bread topped with a celery root and carrot slaw; and a creamy beet salad topped with arugula. My favorite sandwiches were the sardine cream for its light, airy texture and salty flavor; and the beet salad for its slightly sweet, earthy flavor.
