If you're in Prague and even thinking about dessert, do yourself a favor and head straight to Crème de la Crème in Old Town. Yes, there's usually a line -- and yes, it moves quickly. The service is impressively fast and friendly, and trust me, the gelato is absolutely worth the wait. I got the hazelnut and pistachio, and both were incredibly rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced -- not too sweet, just pure flavor. You can taste the real nuts in each bite. My fiancée had the salted dark chocolate with caramel, and it was next-level decadent. Deep, smooth chocolate with just the right hit of salt, and that swirl of caramel took it over the top. You can tell they care about quality here -- this isn't just tourist-trap gelato; it's the real deal. Hands down one of the best gelatos I've ever had, and a must-try if you're anywhere near Old Town.

Great gelatos!! I had the chocolate and chili and line and chili. Wife had pistachio. Good prices and very nice. Clean and quiet. But a long line if it's the wrong time of day.

Was recommended this shop by our tour guide and it was absolutely amazing. I went twice in one day. I got the coconut with lemon and then coconut with sea salt caramel. Both were so good. Incredibly creamy and one of the best gelatos I've ever had. They have so many unique flavors and it can be hard to choose from but rest assure you cannot go wrong.

Salted chocolate and caramel; hazelnut; and pistachios

I came here with my fiancée while exploring Prague's Old Town, and we were both blown away by the gelato. We tried the pistachio and chocolate flavors--both were incredible, but the pistachio was on another level. Creamy, nutty, and full of authentic flavor, it's an absolute must-try. The chocolate was rich and velvety without being too sweet. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, making it a perfect stop on a romantic walk through the city. Highly recommend!

heard many great things about creme de la creme in prague! definitely the food highlight of my trip since i did not enjoy other meals as much -- had ice cream for dinner on my last night haha and it was way better! there is usually a queue but it's pretty fast. there was no line at monday on 7pm. there are indoor seatings or you can go sit near the astronomical clock. service was fast and i sampled two flavors. you can get two scoops for 109ckk or one scoop for 59ckk; i actually got two half scoops for the small and it was a generous portion! i got pistachio and the dark chocolate with cherries. the pistachio was strong and tasted like real pistachios instead of the artificial flavored kind and the dark chocolate was indeed dark with an infused cherry flavor. i tried the salty peanut and it kind of tasted like snickers--it is fairly salty though. i really wanted to try the blueberry lavender but the employee said this location no longer has it and the other one might. i will go tomorrow and update this review!

    Small size, two flavors.

Walked around in circles and finally found it. They offer many vegan options. I ordered a small half blueberries and lavender and half strawberry. The flavors were refreshing, not overly sweet. Atmosphere is cute and service was great. Recommend.

Good gelato, friendly service. Cute little shop with a small warm (in the winter) dinning area. I would recommend.

D-LICIOUS! This is hands down the best ice cream I've had in Prague and potentially ever, and trust me when I say i've had a lot of ice creams. The gelato here is THICC with two C's and they don't skimp out on portion sizes. At ice cream joints in Austin where I'm from, one small scoop of ice cream could cost you upwards of $5 USD. Here, you can get a single scoop cone for 45 crowns - only $1.98 USD! I got the chocolate flavor and it was incredibly rich and decadent. Many of my friends who I am travelling with are lactose intolerant, so we were happy to discover that they also have vegan options. I love this place so much I want to come everyday!

Great Gelato with Added Bonuses Yummy unique gelato combinations and traditional Italian flavors. Loved the Bacio (chocolate hazelnut) and the strawberry basil and passion fruit were so refreshing. The salted caramel chocolate and chocolate were very unusual. Ask for a sample or two. Bonuses... 1. Indoor seating. 2. Free bathrooms! 3. Water with lemons and limes served in glasses. 4. 8 vegan flavors-which we did not try. A bargain at 10 euros for 2 single and 2 double cones. Warnings... Lines were long morning, afternoon and evening. We went at 5 PM when the line was under 10 minutes, but saw lines around the corner at other times.

I gotta say I really love this place. The ice cream is absolutely amazing. My friend and I were first attracted to this location due to the sheer amount of people lining up out of the door and into the sidewalk. We figured, it must be good, so we joined the line. I definitely don't regret my decision. We waited about 5 minutes and were served quickly. My friend and I got the large cone which came with three flavours, and in my opinion we were served a real generous amount. I tried flavours such as passionfruit and Lavender (which holy crap, is now my favourite flavour) but what delighted me the MOST was the Vegan Pistachio ice cream as well as the Vegan Salted peanut. Both flavours were absolutely DELICIOUS. I am in awe of how they're made without dairy. They were both still creamy and rich with flavour. I was thrilled to see these flavours being offered because I am mildly lactose intolerant. And usually vegan ice cream is on the pricey side but these flavours were the same price as all the other ones. Large = 100 CZK (And I'm Canadian, so 100CZK= $5.88 CAD, which I find to be a really good price considering the quality and the quantity received. (Large ice cream places from where I'm from and Toronto would usually be $6, $7 and sometimes even go up to $9 ) Anyhow I would recommend anyone to come here if you're looking to have a refreshing treat after a hot summer day. (Or, if you just wanna feel like you're in heaven after a few bites of that vegan ice cream!)

Plain vanilla ice cream... so rich & delicious!

The grand interior with its high ceilings and historic elegance immediately transports you back to early 20th-century Prague -- you can easily see why historical figures like Kafka and Einstein spent time here. I ordered the traditional Louvre Breakfast alongside a Wiener Melange coffee. The eggs were made fresh, the bread was crisp, and the coffee was hot and perfectly balanced. My friend opted for their famous thick hot chocolate, which was practically liquid dark chocolate -- unbelievably rich and delicious. Despite how busy the main hall got while we were eating, the service was sharp and professional. The waiters in traditional vests kept everything moving smoothly without making us feel rushed at all. Pro tip: It gets very packed after 10:30 AM, so either arrive early or book a table online in advance. A must-visit spot in Prague if you appreciate great coffee, history, and atmosphere.

Rather than look at the menu, I made my decision by viewing the desserts. For an unknown reason, rather than being placed upfront, the tiramisu was placed behind a box of pralines. I do not recall the last time I was served tiramisu in a dish. In between two layers of the mascarpone were the ladyfingers. The bitter cocoa complemented the overall sweetness. I was amused, and slightly caught off guard, with the vending machine in the men's restroom dispensing cologne. None of the other restaurants I visited in the city had one.

We all started off with drinks - I'm not a wine person, but the prosecco was delicious and a great wine. While I typically would subtract a star for slow service, as we had some issues with people receiving drinks and appetizers, we were a large group with only a couple members of the waitstaff taking care of us. Overall, I found them very effective. For the entrees, we were given the duck confit. WOW! So so good. It was tender and perfectly cooked, and served with pickled cabbage that complemented it perfectly. It also came with a few potato dumplings which in general are a bit heavy so I didn't finish those. We ended the night with a dessert selection where I along with most of my cohort went with the Misa dessert, a whipped cream-sponge cake filling surrounded by hardened chocolate. It was delicious, but quite rich and I struggled to finish. So, so good though. The rich history of the restaurant is also absolutely fascinating and I'll recommend this restaurant!

We wanted to grab breakfast before we were headed to the airport but didn't feel like eating too much. First, they have a high chair, a huge plus for us parents.
