Super clean gym, wide open space, good equipment and the friendliest and knowledgable team of coaches. I love that there's proper warm up, stretch session AND thorough instruction for technique and form before the actual workout. Too many gyms overstuff their WODs without proper technique or plan and that's when injury happens. I also love that their workouts are well thought out, so there's a chance for growth, and I'm able to come more than 4-5 times a week without feeling like I'm going to get injured. Also, what a great idea to have a WOD app to log your workouts and have the ability to cheer on others and vice versa. It's very refreshing and encouraging. The members here are all super supportive and friendly too. Just the kind of vibe and camaraderie you need when you're going through a tough session. And one thing I think is so important for any gym is attentive coaching, VS definitely cares. The coaches aren't on their phones, doing their own thing or cleaning or trying to close up when you're doing the workouts, they're paying attention to you. I've been to other places, where it's not the case. Anyway, shout out to the awesome coaches like Allison, Ernie, Tarson, Cassandra, Tia and the very friendly owner Chad for making me feel so welcome. I hope this place never changes because I definitely love coming here.

I've trained here consistently through pregnancies, postpartum, and now even with my kids who honestly think this gym is the most fun place to go with me. What makes this gym so special is the perfect blend of professionalism, warmth, and community. Roy and Maytal run this place with a level of passion, expertise, and care that you just don't find anywhere else. The coaching is top notch, knowledgeable, attentive, and always focused on proper form, safety, and long term results. The workouts are the perfect mix of fun and challenging. You leave every session feeling stronger, accomplished, and proud of yourself. No two workouts are the same and the constant variety keeps you excited to show up. Even on the toughest days the energy in the room pushes you further than you thought possible. And the community is truly something special. The members are like family, supportive, uplifting, and genuinely invested in each other's success. Whether it is celebrating milestones, motivating each other during a tough workout or just sharing laughs, you always feel surrounded by people who care. Interval Strong is not just a gym. It is a place that helps you grow physically, mentally, and emotionally. Thank you Roy, Maytal and Livnat for creating a home where we can challenge ourselves, have fun, and feel supported every step of the way. You guys are the best.

I started doing it and working out but as the pandemic progressed it was harder and harder to find the motivation to do it by myself while I am stuck at home. Roy then advertised that he is doing a challenge that includes a balanced/ healthy Lifestyle, online workouts and even meditation. The best thing about it that he donated to help people in need at this crazy time. I have since lost a lot more and I feel healthier and happier then I have in a long time. Thank you Roy !!

Came for a trial class, and had a classic Crossfit style strength EMOM followed by a WOD. The group…read moreseems very closely knit, and there is a lot of banter and side conversations, but coach Jimmy still gave feedback to folks during the time. He was also very willing to chat on the phone before I came in for the class. I wouldn't recommend jumping right into a class if you have not done Crossfit before, since the warm up was somewhat elaborate and would be challenging for a true beginner, although I think it was suitable for mid-range or experienced folks. Jimmy helped me scale the running component of the workout which I appreciated since I have focused on strength but not conditioning recently. Many of the members introduced themselves and it's a very friendly environment. I've visited maybe 50 crossfit boxes over the years (used to travel for work), so it's a familiar vibe. I mentioned to Jimmy during the class that I'm managing wrist injuries including tendonitis, so I did ring rows instead of chin ups. He looked at me with a face of disapproval, and it was maybe 10-20 seconds of silence until I asked him to "use his words", and then he told an anecdote of his own injuries from the past. It was bizarre--when an athlete discloses injuries or limitations the appropriate action is for a coach to help them accommodate or scale the workout appropriately. Many crossfit gyms have this problem of encouraging athletes to "push through" or "tough it out", or discouraging athletes from modifying workouts when there is pain or restrictions. I don't feel confident I'd be able to be accommodated at this gym if I were to join. Other Crossfit gyms (and my old one) are much more trained and accommodating in this area. After the class ended, there was a lot of chatting after about which areas of LA are "shit holes" and one member even told another to "go back to where he came from" when talking about Mexico. It seems they are close and the banter went both ways, but I was a bit shocked, and I didn't feel comfortable in an environment where that kind of conversation is happening. I got an email after the class saying that I "missed my class" so maybe there is a check in procedure that was missed somewhere. In summary, a community that seems close, but may not be right for everyone, including myself. I recommend the staff improve admin procedures, more intentionally accommodate injuries or restrictions, or meet with new members even 10 minutes before class to go over workout history or prior injuries.

I've lost weight, built strength, and, more importantly, developed consistency and structure that carries far beyond the gym. The workouts are effective and thoughtfully programmed, but what truly sets this place apart is the coaching. The instructors are skilled--they don't just lead workouts, they coach on nutrition. They pay attention to form, push you when you need it, and know how to meet you where you are on any given day. There's a level of accountability and encouragement that makes it easy to stay committed. Impact One isn't just about fitness--it's about creating better habits, discipline, and balance. If you're looking for a place that delivers real results with expert guidance, this is it.

Down 30 lbs, zero injuries, feeling like a new person…read more Ok so I don't really write reviews but I have to for these guys. I've tried so many things in the Woodland Hills / West Hills area -- gyms, personal trainers, group classes -- and honestly nothing ever clicked. Then I found Impact One and it's just been a totally different story. When I walked in back in December 2025 I was kind of a mess. Recovering from a shoulder injury, dealing with plantar fasciitis, just not in a great place physically. Four months later? Down close to 30 pounds, shoulder feels great, and the plantar fasciitis is like 70 to 90% better. And I didn't pick up a single new injury along the way. That part still blows my mind. I feel strong. Like actually strong. And my energy is through the roof -- I honestly can't remember the last time I felt this good. The biggest reason this works is the team. Ali, Micah, Thomas, and Jorge -- these guys aren't just trainers, they're legit experts. They really understand the body. Every single session they're watching how you move, checking in on how you're feeling, and adjusting things on the fly based on what your body can handle that day. When I came in with my shoulder and my foot issues, they didn't just say "ok we'll go easy." They actually knew how to program around my injuries so I could still make serious progress without making anything worse. That kind of knowledge is really hard to find. And beyond the expertise, they're just genuinely supportive people. They make you feel like they're in your corner. It's not rah-rah fake motivation -- they actually care about your results and they pay attention to the details. The programming itself is also next level. There's a real methodology behind everything, not just random workouts. But it's the combination of smart programming plus trainers who deeply know what they're doing that makes this place special. I've been around the block with fitness out here. These guys are the best I've found and it's not even close. If you're on the fence just go.
