The first time I walked in I was greeted and was helped right away. I received an explanation of how to operate the washer (pay in coins, app, credit/debit) and the layout of the facility which was SUPER helpful. The establishment is kept very CLEAN. They provide additional services so make sure to check their website. The washer and dryer machines are fantastic (Huebsch). Roughly 23 minutes in the washer! I'd recommend downloading the app as you can pay and receive credits for each washer/dryer cycle. The app will also show how many machines are available and the remaining time left in the cycle. Zoom was great until this obnoxious lady decided to basically tell me to leave. She went on and on about being considerate, yet I don't recall asking her opinion. Yes I was folding my clothes and yes it was past closing time, and I was initially apologetic when I was going to leave until she yelled at us. I'm someone who likes to have their laundry neat so it doesn't get all wrinkled by the time I get home. What's the point of having clean clothes if they're just shoved back into the hamper and all wrinkly? Was going there for the past month but will not be back again. Don't come here unless you want to be yelled at for minding your own business. read more

When their card readers were down for the machines today, they went ahead and paid for my wash load since I didn't have cash/coins on hand. Do I recommend? ABSOLUTELY! Zoom has been my lifeline to clean clothes for 2 yrs. Always great service & a great job on my laundry. No more hauling clothes up and down 2 flights of stairs (I have Parkinson's)...I call, they pick it up and it comes back usually next day - all clean and beautifully folded. I have used Zoom for several months. At first during Michigan's lockdown for pickup/deliver wash and fold service. Amazing and everything was always clean and neatly folded. After lockdown was lifted I started coming to the storefront. The place is super clean, they supply all laundry soap and softener, as well as provide FREE masks/gloves/sanitizer. Now that it is mandated by state government that masks be worn indoors in public spaces, I was happy to see a sign about masks being required on the door. HOWEVER no attempt is made by the employees to enforce this and one of the employees working tonight had the mask under (not over) her nose. I will not be back. read more

Zoom is the bomb.com. Great customer service, affordable prices, reasonable time frames. I personally utilized their dry cleaning services for a linen and silk piece. It cost under $30 which fit right into my budget and I believe is a more than fair price for the fabric. Highly recommend! read more

I hate to give it 5 stars and a great review ONLY because I think of it as the hidden gem of East Lansing laundromats and I don't want the secret to be out. But they deserve the great review. This laundromat is nice and updated. Previously, I went to Point Laundry on Grand River in the plaza with Oriental Mart, but the machines are rather old and the whole laundromat makes me feel a bit grubby. And the QD laundromats kind of skeeve me out. My friend checked out Zoom Express to wash a comforter and recommended it to me, and I'm in love. Machines are nice and large. The price is a bit higher here (washers $4 for the smaller, dryer 25¢ for 25 minutes), but it's seriously worth it. Clothes comes out feeling and smelling clean--no weird dryer odor like Point Laundry had (sort of a burnt smell, almost). They have all the supplies you need free at the counter, so no lugging detergent, fabric softener, and bleach around. Extra useful for me because I somehow would always manage to forget dryer sheets. Dedicated pet washer/dryers that are sanitized after each use (extra nice because I'd always feel guilty washing my dog blankets, towels, and bedding). The app is super easy to use. It's nice to be able to do it all from your phone and not have to bring cash, quarters, or a laundry card. (Although I think there are stations where you can load the app with cash). My only gripe is that the app messes up with the timing for reminder texts--but that's not the laundromat's fault and I always set a timer anyways. No matter where you are, you can check the app to see how much longer your washer or dryer needs. And see how many are in use to gauge if it will be busy. Parking lot is nice and large. They have a vending machine (and in non-virus times they offer free refreshments). Free WiFi. Non-virus times they have a little reading area for kids. Stools and tables to sit at while waiting for laundry. PHONE CHARGERS!! Seriously, they have thought of everything. SPECIFICALLY FOR COVID: this is what inspired me to write a review today after having gone for the past few months. Store is limited to 10 people inside, which worked for me since I run errands while my stuff is drying anyways. There was a sign that doors open indicated the washer had been disinfected, and I personally saw staff (Brian, who is super nice!) come over donning a mask and gloves to disinfect the washers as soon as they were emptied. He kept an eye out and would disinfect chairs and folding tables after people used them and left. Hand sanitizer was everywhere for people to use. Plastic bags at the bottom of laundry carts that were changed after each use. I waited until I was literally out of clean laundry to come due to the epidemic, and I felt so at ease doing laundry here. 5 stars, 10/10, will always come here for my laundry. Called in and they couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating. They let me know my clothes were ready for pick up and I couldn't make it before close, so they offered to drop off for free the next day. Very impressed and will use again. read more

While it is clean, the machines are giant, the app feature is ace there, and I had initially loved it, some of the employees are incredibly obnoxious. I put my clothes in and went to sit in my car, as the machines are abundant but the seating is sparse at best, when I came in one of the employees was unknowingly talking about me and how I'd i wasn't there to get my clothes they'd throw them in the trash. I was literally sitting in my car parked in the spot in front of the machine I was using. You get a text message three minutes before your wash it done. I ignored her and put my clothes in the dryer. When they were about done (again, you can get a text to let you know) I went in to check the dryness and the guy with the patchy beard tells me they're closed... I got there well before last wash (at least an hour), employees are still folding laundry and I can't leave with wet clothes because I DON'T HAVE A WASHING MACHINE AT HOME. I tell the guy I'm drying clothes and he tells me I need to wrap it up. I can only leave as fast as your machines dry, my dude. What a shame a couple of clowns made me never want to return. read more

I was picking up my student from MSU... prepping to put items in storage for the summer. I found some 'tanner' on her white comforter (ugh). Called the shop asked if they thought I could get it washed and dried before they closed (it was 8:45 when I called). I was told to get there as soon as I could and was greeted as the "lady with the comforter" when I got there. The owners came at closing and were pleasant and chatting while we waited for the dryer to finish. I'm grateful for their kindness and willingness to stay a little past closing for me. I know where I'll take our laundry for the next few years while @ MSU! read more

5 stars because they care. I discovered their laundry delivery service when I moved into a rental without a washer or dryer. I wanted to avoid laundromats if possible due to the pandemic but I've found their pickup/drop-off service so convenient I'll probably stick with it even after social distancing is over.
