This place is no longer Sunshine, it's Point Laundry. This group or company has three locations or franchises now, I don't know. Last year they did a remodel and now it's got fancy machines, trendy tables to fold your clothes on and cards to put your money on to use the machines. This is handy for them because they can keep your money on their system and if you lose the card, your money is gone. They used to have a quarter machine onsite for ease of using machines but that is over. Anyway- pros: lots of new washers and dryers. Cons: the machines leave the clothing super wet. Also- are living in a pandemic. I've watched the kid working here take his mask off to talk to customers more than I've seen him have the thing on his actual face. There are signs on all the doors and around the building saying masks are mandatory and to please take your laundry home to fold and to wait in your car. But here I am, freezing my ass off in my car while I watch three men with no masks talk to the prepubescent attendant in a douchebag adidas beanie and his mask around his chin. I'll be looking for a new laundry mat. read more

Best laundromat in the area. I did some laundry there today and I was impressed with how clean everything was and how welcoming the staff was. The guy working today was helpful, friendly, and personable. In my experience a lot of laundromats have unfriendly and unapproachable staff, but not this one. Located just outside of Frandor, Sunshine Laundromat was able to provide me the ability to do my laundry when the dryer went out at my apartment. And I'm grateful. Not much to say, other than its a laundromat. Most of the machines work, some don't. However, they have perks. Some days there is free detergent, some days there's buy one wash get one wash free for college students, etc. read more

This is the second time I have visited since the pandemic. Very rude! This first time I visit and was treated rude, I blew it off. Today, I was treated rude. I will not be going back. I was trying to fold my blanket as it is large and raining and was rudely told I could not do it. I will drive 50 miles before I ever go back!!!! Customer service is a BIG 0!!! read more

--I have been taking an oversized quilt to sunshine for years for washing and drying. Today i picked it up and took it out of the bag and put it on my bed and it reeked of cigarette smoke. I was told by the manager "there's nothing he can do about it." Ive been going to Sunshine gor years. Never again. read more

Great place to wash clothes...people are nice....machines work well...and students get a discount!

Love how big the washers are and that the dryers are only 25 cents for 6 minutes and are extremely well heated (very hot). Has a couple games where my kids stay occupied for a while and friendly and helpful attendants. read more

I've used Sunshine for a long time because it's close to my house, the large washers are a real plus, and the staff has been friendly and helpful. However, over the last year it's really gone down hill. It's messy and downright dirty, and the staff, for the most part, don't pay much attention to the customers or the store itself. I've actually had a few times when it took a while to get someone's attention for help, and there's sometimes been "an attitude" about it. I recently had them do several loads of laundry for me and gave them unscented detergent to use, but the laundry came home with a very strong scented detergent smell. Sad to say, but I'll be checking out other places. read more
