Visited 7-5-24. As far as water parks go, this place is pretty damn good. It's not "top tier" like some of the places in Orlando or Tennessee, but then again, I only have to drive a few hours to get here. They offer all the usual slides, flumes and thrills for a competitive price. Tickets were $43 per person.......which isn't cheap, but the park is clean, well kept and is very family friendly. Concessions are a little pricey, but what isn't these days? They offer a cabana rental in addition to the daily pass and if you come with a large group, I think it may be worth it. You have a place to call "home base" when you're there and kids can come and go all day long to take a break from the heat, have a snack or just relax for a few minutes. The cabana rental also includes some meal vouchers which is money you'd be spending anyway as I don't think they allow outside food or drink in. If you're interested, there's also an "adults only" bar on the premises if you'd like to unwind with a cocktail. read more

This was my first visit here, I'm not a fan of water parks, but we had a great time. The park wasn't crowded and the lines were fairly short. All the staff was friendly and helpful. We alerted a supervisor abouta little girl who had injured her foot, a medic came right away and we saw the girl later running around. I works definitely return and highly recommend coming here at least once per season. read more

this waterpark is amazing for all ages, different waterslides for different ages and very fun slides with barely any wait!

I have seen many places in my 50+ years and I was unsure what to expect. In hard times, so many understaffed places are so overloaded and dealing with the negativity so many tend to spew at the ones who actually showed up. I would urge you to go here, be patient and kind and LOOK at these kids in action. The staff in the kitchen were all younger than my own kids and were amazing, fast, full of smiles AND making it happen! The staff at each of the stations and rides we went to were bubbly, energetic, kind and full of passion for what they do. EVERY SINGLE person we met was amazing. You really made my heart, as a mother, feel so grateful there are kids like you in the world. Be kind. Compliment them. Tip them. They are there and they showed up today. It is not easy to do that anymore with so many people being cruel. Oh, and pick up your own garbage and give them a break. Well done ZOOM FLUME TEAM! Went here today. It was a steamy day - in the 90s. I think it's a great place. Clean. Really fun for a variety of ages. But. You can't bring in food. Which I guess would be ok if they had enough places to purchase food there. When you pay the entrance fee, you'll be there all day or most of it. You'll need food. You won't want to wait in the long lines for food. If I had it to do over, I would bring our own food and eat it at the covered tables in the parking lot. I kind of laughed at the idea but it's smart. Pack a cooler and eat lunch out there. You'll save yourself money and avoid spending too much time broiling in the Sun waiting in line. read more

Horrible management, waited over two hours for chicken tenders and a burger at the only food booth, the manager was rude to the customers and did nothing to help the situation, attractions were closed, we were told that the employees were all 16y old and under and didn't get breaks, this place should be investigated. read more

What a wonderful hidden gem! This isn't going to be one of the biggest or fanciest adventure parks, but it is PERFECT both in terms of size and staff. It is clean, friendly, and most importantly SUPER FUN. I brought a 12 yo, two 10 yo and one 5 yo and we all had a blast. After reading the various complaints here, I came to this park with tempered expectations, but for our family needs, the park was near perfect. We have a five year old, a four year old and a two year old. We rented cabana #9, which overlooked the wave pool. Our kids can't swim without life jackets yet, so the shallow end of the wave pool was perfect for them. They alternated between jumping in the waves and playing in the rainbow shaped sprinkler on the side. The pizza was next to the pool and while no pizza compares to what we have in NYC, it was fine for feeding three kids who just wanted to get back to playing in the water. They happily played for almost five hours, which was definitely worth the cost. Closer to the city, everything is so crowded ALL THE TIME and it was nice to have room to play. read more

Nice place to take the kids on a hot summer day. This place is ideal for those who are between 5 and 12. Any younger or older than that is probably not going to have a real good time. Wasn't too crowded on a Monday in July. Cost is a little steep but it helps to keep out the un-desirables. We were able to hit everything in about 3 hours. Pro-tip: Get some of those swimming shoes you can just leave on and walk around and swim in. You will burn the hell out of your feet if you walk around this place barefoot. A lot of cement paved and wood walkways that just get baked in the hot sun all day. read more

While there were a few fun rides and the staff was really nice to us, there are several major problems with this park. 1. There are no water fountains in this park. We asked and were told if we wanted water we had to by $3 bottle of water. Really! Even Disney and Universal have water fountains everywhere, because they know it's important to keep guests hydrated. 2. There is almost no shade. What little shade they had has been turned into cabana rentals, so they can get an extra $60 to $100 (depending on size) out of you. That doubled what we planned to pay for the day. Other places I've been have had umbrellas with the lounge chairs and lounge chairs in shady places - included in the admission price. Oh and you can't bring your own umbrella! 3. The food is awful - really awful. There are no vegetables at any of the food stands. I asked they suggested pepperoni pizza as it had tomato sauce on it! So if you want anything other than junk food (frozen pizza, frozen chicken nuggets, hot dogs .... ), you have to bring your own. Oh and you can't bring in a decent size cooler... 4. The park layout is confusing and causes you to walk a long way to go from ride to ride. So most folks found a ride they liked and did it over and over. 5. The cooler that comes with the cabana rental is TINY. Only enough room to hold the 4 bottles of water that comes with the cabana rental. We got there at 10am... our cooler was already 80% water!!! If they cared about the customer experience and had better food, they would make a lot more money! read more

So this is the perfect water park to go to if you have a young child who isn't very good at swimming. The few rides that this park does offer has enough shallow ends that it is easy for children to navigate. We went with a group of children most of who can't swim very well and they all enjoyed it a lot. There are some rides that go a little deeper, but there isn't any extreme action. This isn't to say that it isn't enjoyable because it is. We probably completed all the rides within 3 hours, minus the wave pool. The waits are fairly short, but the attendants seem to generally HATE their job. I've never seen such miserable, un happy people in a water park. There was maybe 1 or 2 attendants that were happy, and friendly. Most of them were short, and annoyed you were riding their rides, but they are high schoolers so they are at that age I guess. (ha). It has lots of seating for picnics, and is very accommodating. Its definitely good for large groups of small children because its big enough to be fun, but small enough your not worried about losing people. DO NOT GO ON THE PLUNGE. if you are under 90 pounds maybe its awesome, but I hit my elbows so hard on both sides that I have bruises. read more

The park itself has fun rides, a good layout and surprisingly decent food. 1 star rating primarily basis the attitude of the staff (only those involved with the water rides) and senior life guards. They were nothing like you'd expect on your fun day out. Sulky and surly with no smiles in sight. 0 interaction with the kids and an overall feeling like they were forced to be there. I get that they're there all day in the sun and are probably tired of seeing the sheer glee and delight 1st time visitors might experience - but isn't that the job they signed up for?? 2 simple examples - a couple of kids were asking the senior life guard on duty when the waves would resume in the wave pool..he not only ignored their continued requests for information but went on to put on his sunglasses and look away. Secondly (and this is more from a safety concern) - all rides have signage on how properly to ride them and end stating - 'do not proceed without instructions from the life guard on duty' - not on a single ride were we given any instructions. We'd love to go again and hopefully there will be better management. read more

We spent last 4th of July weekend at Zoom Flume Water Park and stayed at the Country Inn Resort. It was a really nice weekend!! The meals were included (breakfast and dinner) and the food was FANTASTIC. We loved every minute of it. The food attendant was had a bad attitude and could not give a glass water even though I had a food voucher with soda included. I take my grandkids for a week every summer and this was always part of our fun. This year we parked all our stuff in a cabana overlooking the kiddie pool. No signs about rentals..other cabanas had reserved or rent me. After several hours of fun and buying lunch we came back and all our stuff was gone. Cut to a manager holding our stuff for a rental fee of 99$! I said there was not one sign! Not one..He said he lost a sale, gave me all our stuff piece meal while the 3 kids, all under 10 years old waited. I save all year for this and buying them school clothes. I could have cried but I did not want my grandkids to remember this...I paid 60$. It was $160 for the 4.5 hours we were there. Too much and this management was unyielding and unsympathetic. He said the cabana was a mess with powdered sugar..from the 3 kids sharing a fried dough from the snack bar! Shame on us. If you have the dough, pun intended, this place may be for you and your family. As for me, I spend money locally always. This man soured me on this place. We have been going here since my kids were little. Now they are too elite for the locals? Good luck with that. read more

For those of us who often summer in the north Catskills, this is a fine place. Yes, its an older water park so can't compete on rides withe the modern ones. But a season pass is so cheap and it is not quite so busy. The new wave pool is a great help. Our kids (8 and 11) spend most of their time there. Other rides can get busy but line are not usually that long. Yes, one has got a scrape or two on two of the rides. Yes, the staff are high schoolers. However, they try their best. Advertisements and what not make it look so big it in reality it's not that big of a park. Had a blast today. Yes you can do the water park in 3 hours. But, since it's a weekday lines were short and we did some rides over and over again. My daughter is 6 and she had a great time as this is her first waterpark. In the beginning of the park, there is an awesome ride just for young kids. And older kids will enjoy Canyon Plunge (only water ride I didn't go on). The food price was decent not ridiculous. We rented a small locker for $5, plus a refundable $10 deposit. You could bring a cooler (had to me specific size requirements) but we just threw our drinks in the locker with the towels. I did not go on the zip line, since my daughter is too young, but it was a very popular attraction. read more

I simply love this place! It's small enough to navigate while having all the fun and wow factors of the larger scale water parks. It's wooden stairs, bridges and walks really keep you in the country mood, and it's so fairly priced for all to visit! Even the concessions and gift shop are so reasonable, unlike other water or theme parks! There's something for every age group, from toddler to adult, and I've been going every summer since my 22 year old was an infant! We only came to this park because of the Groupon offer. We were not impressed. It was small and antiquated. The food was limited to fried and fattening options, and very limited healthy options. They were not accommodating with switching out of the greasy foods that were offered on our food voucher. Overall, anything to do with water kids will enjoy, but I wouldn't be visiting again. read more

The location is great, the rides are decent and overall it is a nice park for family fun. The cons were the lines. I went on a hot and sticky Tuesday- there were quite a few people since it was summer. It was almost as if there weren't enough staff running the place because the lines were so slow moving and long, however upon a closer look, there were a lot of employees milling about. It was as if they didn't know how to handle the timing of the attractions between riders or they simply did not care. Being in such long lines for a while, you take note to all the things they could be doing to improve on speeding things up. There were a lot of deflated riding tubes for all the rides scattered through the park. This example is for all the tube rides: After a person was sent on the ride, the employee at the top of the ride would wait till the person is out of the water (pretty standard) then wait a while (around 3-4 min on average after the waterway was cleared then let the next person down. Meanwhile the rest of the people in line would wonder "Umm...What are they waiting for?".I mean if you have been to a waterpark before, you would know how the timing works- the person goes down, attendant at the bottom helps patrons out, sends the tube back up while the operator up top sends the next person down like an assembly line! The waiting is ridiculous! Granted you need to make sure that it is clear first before you send the next person down, but, letting the ride idle for MINUTES empty is plain poor running. Another thing is the lazy river...it has got to be the smallest, most rushed lazy river I have ever floated on. It was way too chaotic with two attendants at the exit/entry helping people in and out of the tubes. Such a bad system- there is no need to help every person in their tubes (esp. adults). It should just be a help yourself to your tube and float around...if you want to go again cause it is so small, so be it! Six Flags and the White Water Bay at the Lodge near Lake George are much better as far as efficiency. Especially White Water Bay- that one is so much fun. If they just fixed this problem, it would be such a fun, enjoyable place to spend the day with family and friends. read more

Great day for our party of 8 of mixed ages. We rented a cabana by the wave pool and were very comfortable. It was nice to have a shaded spot with a table and a couple of lounge chairs and a bit of privacy along with outstanding views of the mountainsides. Our group navigated the rides and the park quickly and easily. There are a couple of concession stands with standard poolside food. Lots of personnel and lifeguards. The lines moved quickly. I agree with the comment that suggested water shoes. Actually, it's almost a must. The Trek and cement throughout most of the park does get really hot. I don't think the entrance price was unreasonable and if you know you'll be going more than once, you can't beat the season pass. No wifi if that's important to you. read more

The park is great fun! We go every summer with a group of 100 plus summer campers. The park can be hard to navigate and there are not enough storage lockers. Some of the lines can be quick but the more popular rides took longer. Confusing layout to the snack bar but food is above average. The park was well maintained and clean. read more

After buying 3 season passes we found they changed things mid way. They now have scales on one of the slides with more to come. You go to these places to be with loved ones to find that not only can you not go on a slide with them but you cannot even go on it alone due to 2 people have to go on it. You used to rent lockers and got your money back when you returned the key. Now it's Electronic with no refund wish there was a notation would not have spent the $16 for one. Food at concessions is usually stale and horrible..pretzels fried dough and nachos. Place to eat is by the wave pool food is good there. You used to have access to the bar /restaurant which is now fenced off and have no access to. If I would have known all this before buying season passes I would have never bought them. i like it there. we get a season pass and go every day. if you ask the lifeguards why they wait it makes sense. they've had alot of ppl flip over and complain. especialy on twin tubing. on that ride they have to wait for the watter to settle because it can, and will literly throw you. the life guards are really nice and it's a relaxing park. but not really the thrill type of park. it really nice and you should go. the season passes are the best deal because if you go three times that summer they pay for themselves read more
