They wanted a 36% deposit up front, $3200 against an estimated total of $8900. On July 25th, I signed the contract and sent them the $3200 deposit. On October 12th, 11 and half weeks after I signed the contract, I demanded my deposit back. They then informed me that there was no start date on the contract and that there was nothing legally I could do to them. I feel like they were disingenuous with their contract and their delays and I have yet to receive my deposit back.

We have probably the worst driveway in all of MA (Sean agrees, it's the worst driveway they've ever plowed). It's a very steep hill which goes right up and into the garage so there is not a lot of places for the snow to go. We've been using SS now for the past 3 or 4 storms. They come by every 4 inches (which we asked for), they get out and shovel what they can't remove with the plow, and they've even left and come back with a different truck and other equipment if what they originally came with doesn't get the job done. The best part about SS is that they are reliable. In the past we've had trouble with plow services not showing up, and then not even returning our phone calls which leaves us stranded in the morning with no way to get out and get off to work. Sean always returns my phone calls, and they always show up right when they say they will be there. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to contract a plow service. I can't speak to their other offerings, but I would assume they are great. We will certainly be giving them a try for other things since we've been so happy with them thus far!
