The restaurant itself is umarked on the outside. Once you find it, you will enter into a minimalistic space where the natural light bounces off the warm grey walls. The stop into the noodle shop will be quick. The rigid bar stools don't encourage you to longer long, because after every last perfectly cooked noodle has been slurped up, a new patron will enter into this oasis for a hot, satisfying bowl.

We had to wait just a couple of minutes for two tables to open up but it was well worth the wait. The menu is limited, but I appreciate that they are serving what they know they have perfected. My husband and I both ordered the shoyu ramen. The broth is so flavorful and the pork is so thinly sliced, which I appreciate. I don't do runny yoke in an egg, but my husband enjoyed that component. The woman working in the restaurant was so friendly and quick to tend to our table. This is a hidden gem that you should check out if you like ramen!

I have recently gotten into making my own ramen so I'm particular when it comes to buying it out. I got the Char Sui and the pork belly was so buttery and soft. The egg was delicious but a little too soft, it melted into the soup. Not my favorite, I prefer it firmer but I'll forgive them since everything else was great. The broth was intricately flavored, the perfect temp and the veggies were just soft enough. The noodles were to die for- perfectly chewy. The older gentleman who runs the place is a delight. Note - the marinated egg costs 15 kr extra. Just something to figure in. Even with the egg, my bowl cost 140 kr: a steal compared to some other places who's ramen isn't nearly as good. Extra note - they even have gluten-free noodles! So now even celiacs can enjoy ramen out. I haven't tried them though, will report back after I bring my celiac boyfriend here.

Could've skipped on the sushi. Were completely full all night (mind you, we had dinner at like 5:30pm). Lax Sushi (80kr): 5 nigiri and 3 rolls. Very decent sushi. Fish could have been colder in my opinion. I think they use fake crab meat, but I personally don't mind. Lax-Kimchi (90kr): Raw salmon on top of a generous bowl of rice (even enough for me, as a rice monster) with kimchi, sesame seeds, and dried seaweed; raw egg yolk is optional (highly recommended, makes it creamy and tastier). Fresh fish, very tasty, extremely filling. Rice could've been hotter, but not a big deal. Chige (95kr): Big bowl of strong-flavored kimchi seafood stew with (what seemed like) endless pieces of salmon, oyster, shrimp, and scallops. Comes with a large bowl of rice. Even though I'm not a huge fan of kimchi (not a sour/tart person), I enjoyed it and was pleasantly surprised by how much seafood they gave. It's a very casual place where you sit whereever and order at the sushibar, get your own tea/water and utensils. I prefer this type of dining experience--less stressful. Staff are not THAT friendly but not rude either. If you come for lunch, I think it comes with a bowl of miso soup (got the lax-kimchi and she packed a soup with it). Decent miso--had oyster and no tofu. Basically, if you want a casual dining experience and some pretty good sushi/seafood without blowing all your cash, come here!

It is about 7 stops south off the green line and is located in the suburbs of a residential area so the menu was of no surprise -- all in Swedish. None the less, we figured out some words like lax for salmon and any confusion was cleared up by the workers. The sushi is served in sets and served on a platter with seaweed salad, squid salad, an array of mayo, spicy mayo, and wasabi, fish eggs, edamame and 2 types of ginger which were ALL separated so the customer could choose how they wanted to flavor their own sushi. The sushi itself was what changed which varied from size S, 7 pieces, to size XXL, 15 pieces of either california rolls, tuna rolls, salmon, shrimp, avocado, and a seasoned crabmeat one. There were also complete vegetarian options. I ordered the L 11 piece meal and it was satisfying enough! The bento boxes and yakitori also looked BOMB but due to the lack of English, decided not to pass up on the sushi! Also saw people ordering things that looked like cashew chicken and fried rice so there is SO much variety here. Also, they have the customers self serve themselves for miso soup where the customers can add their own tofu pieces, onions, and seaweed which was perfect since I always crave more seaweed!
