The housekeeping team is inconsistent, often forgetting basic amenities (this time the iron was missing and the phone was totally disconnected from the wall of no way plugging it back in) and leaving the room less than clean. That shouldn't be the case at a hotel of this caliber. One ongoing issue I've experienced across multiple stays is the lack of water in the gym. Every single time I've been here, there's no water available. I've had to call the front desk about it multiple times, and once even approached a housekeeper--an older gentleman--who just shrugged his shoulders as if to say, "I don't care." That was particularly frustrating after running five miles. I really hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves staff training and accountability. This hotel has so much potential given its prime location, but the service standards need attention.

It's one of the design hotels, and each room is different. The lobby was very fun with white penguin lamps with pink lampshades and other kitschy touches. Our room was all pink with portraits of dogs and dog pillows and was equally kitschy and fun. The bad thing was that you're supposed to declare whether you would like smoking or non-smoking room upon checking. We arrived around 11 or 12, but weren't able to do it early check in. They put us on the books and held our luggage, which we were grateful for, but we didn't know we needed to declare and they neglected to ask. As a result, when we returned from a long day of work followed by dinner, all of the rooms had been booked except for smoking rooms. We spent the night in our pink, dog-themed room smothered by smoke. We opened the window for the 3-4 hours before we went to sleep, but it made very little impact. It was, unfortunately, an unpleasant night. I don't understand why anyone would allow smoking in a hotel room because it embeds in everything: the walls, pillows, rugs, drapes, mattresses-- everything. Other than that, it was a very cute hotel and we would stay again as long as we could obtain a non-smoking room. Also they are famous for their Rolling Stones mouse urinals. So do try to check those out in the lobby if you have a moment.

The construction around the hotel and the giant intersection make it feel unsafe walking around at times. And the area around the hotel has sketchy people which can make it feel unsafe as well but actually they hang out more during the day and we felt more safe at night. I'd rate this hotel 3.5 stars if possible…read more One big plus for this hotel is its proximity to the Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof. That is the main reason we stayed here on our last night in Germany. As a side note there was a tradeshow in the city during our stay, this did make hotel choices harder with limited availability and higher pricing. The reception area, lobby and adjacent breakfast cafe were very clean and well lit. Check-in was efficient as one would expect. This hotel features no check-out and last minute booking via a computer in the vestibule. They have access codes for the doors no keys or key cards. Large elevator available for guests and stairwell around it. The hallways are also clean and well lit, but most importantly quiet. The room was modern and decorated nicely. I liked the graphic of Frankfurt as a headboard. The room is smaller and featured two twin beds which were very low to the ground. They could be pushed together to form a larger sleeping area but the split between isn't very comfortable for sleeping. Not much space to walk at the foot of the beds. In addition to the sleeping space there was a small desk area and a little closet. No surprise, the bathroom was also small but had the essentials and again was very clean. The WiFi was terrible. I think I successfully connected to the WiFi once here. Even when I connected it was slow and not worth using. First world problem really, but if I was here for work or something that would be bothersome. Breakfast is available for an additional charge. They appeared to be plenty of other dining and shopping options in the vicinity. We didn't do too much exploring other than hitting up a doner kebab stand. Overall for the price and convenience this was a fine hotel for an overnight stay. If I had been travelling longer in Frankfurt I'm not sure I would have liked the accommodations as much.

This makes for a super easy check out, if you need to leave before checkout hours, too. I stayed here for 1 night. The room is very cozy with a bed, tv, small table. I like how there are restaurants right outside, too. Overall, this place is great considering the price. I'd definitely come back.
