The wine was delicious and perfectly complimented the salad. The salad was good. It was a little small so I wish I had ordered something else because it didn't satisfy my hunger but it was super tasty! I loved the gorgeous views provided on the patio. Everything was just so nice. The staff were great. I will definitely come back next time I'm in Trier!

The meal was prepared very well and the schnitzel was tender and cooked perfectly. The cranberry sauce paired well with the schnitzel. I will visit again if ever in this town. You have two rooms to choose from: one that is more laid back and one that is more sophisticated and fancy. We went with the laid back room. A tiny place with crooked walls and narrow rooms that serves excellent white wine from the region. The service was a little matter of fact, but that is neither here nor there. Rooms are candle lit (if I remember correctly) and you can get a sampler tray of wine with hors d'ouevres. Very romantic. Went here with my girl (yes, I got some afterwards!) Did I say it was romantic?
