I started with a bread basket with two different kinds of breads and accompanied by a plate of small Spanish olives and a creamy garlic dip. 4.5 stars - I liked it a lot.
Plato Español consisting of Jamón serrano, chorizo for, chorizo vela picante and fuet extra. A very generous portion (I ordered a small one) and for a great price of EUR 10. 4.5 stars.
Selection of international cheeses - also good, although not as generous as the order above. It is a 4 star dish, since they could have been a little more imaginative with the cheese selection.
Datiles con bacon - dates wrapped in bacon with an almond in each date. The bacon was a lot crispier than I would have wanted it, although the saltines of the bacon was well balanced with the sweetness of the date. 4 stars.
Chorizo a la riojano - small chorizo sausage in a red wine sauce. I liked it a lot especially since it wasn't too greasy or too salty but just right. 5 stars for the mini chorizos.
Gambas al pil pil - shrimp in garlic-chili oil. Good dish, slightly more oily than I like it with a slight spicy kick. 4 stars.
Cebollas rellenas - stuffed onions with creamy mashed potatoes, eggplant on a bed of guac. Very well done and possibly the star of the evening. 5 stars.
I can't wait to go back to Lobo y Luna.
