However the service was very good and all the staff were nice. Food also came out pretty quickly. This is a spot for families looking for somewhere to eat and actually relax a bit. There is a kids menu, kids play corner with lots of toys and books, and a playground outside. Recommended for when dining with little kids. You can ask for a table in the kids corner room.

It's cavernous but cozy if that's possible and absolutely gorgeous. It's located downstairs in one of the many beautiful old building in "downtown" or center square Goettigen. The Schnitzel was really good. They have a great dessert bar. Not as good as Cron and Lanz but good none the same. So when in Goettigen stop in and have a bite.

The potatoes were what you would expect in Germany. And the ham was delicate. We split a warm strudel which was memorable. Upscale but not flashy or super trendy. Just a fine, solid place.
