If you are looking for a small unpretentious but good Austrian beisl ( typical pub restaurant), this is the place to go to. It is outside the touristic circuit and the atmosphere is quiet and cozy.
We ordered the tafelspitz (boiled beef)that came with nice fresh vegetables, a side of apple compote and a little creamy sauce.
The roasted potatoes were good too.
The fish filet was fresh albeit a little small but the mixed salad and the boiled potatoes were actually delicious.
Some of our friends ordered the schnitzel cordon bleu and some pasta with a spinach pesto that looked appetizing.
The dessert ( chestnut with cream and liqueur ) was a tad too heavy on alcohol.
Service was professional.
