There is a limited selection of groceries on the spacious floor. How did I end up way over in Goodhue? There is a massive detour for Highway 61 which sends us on older highways and some scenic county roads. There are some tables outside with no shade with a view of the grain elevator, and more interesting a view of the historic restored train depot.

She charged us for a karuba gold and a 24 oz coffee. They said since we put a 1 oz shot in the cup that we have to pay for it. I understand that and shared with them I did but they wouldn't even let me grab the other cup that I payed for. So we left with one cup of 23 oz of cappuccino and 1 oz of espresso. 23oz was 2.29 and the one oz was 3.49 and was told that I did not pay for the karuba cup so I cannot get the cup. I believe that the lady in charge must've had a rough morning already even though it was 8am because she wanted to be the boss of the situation and not handle it correctly. They should go through a customer service course for how she was not able to resolve the situation.

Instead, while in downtown Rochester, I decided to top my car's gas tank at this Holiday gas station. This Holiday is just off South Broadway. It's a nice, large gas station with pumps in the double digits. The convenience store looked massive! I didn't need to go in. I like when U.S. gas pumps accept Canadian credit cards. The one that I used did not prompt for a ZIP code. All went well. I simply had to insert it and enter my PIN. Holiday is affiliated with Cub Foods. I got prompted to enter my Cub rewards card. I don't have one, so I skipped that part. I was thrilled to have topped off my car's gas tank. The area around the gas pump that I used was clean and great. The only downside was that each pump has a screen that plays ads. Every one was saying something that it does get noisy. This gas station is spacious. A Rochester bus was parked off to the side, likely taking a break before going back on its regular route. It didn't block any vehicle coming in and out of this gas station. I had a pleasant experience. I'll need to check out the convenience store next time I'm here. (492)

They have ice cream (ice cream truck- individually packed options) energy drinks, soda, chips, coffee, fresh donuts (delivered daily), candy, greeting cards, and so much more. They also have a microwave, which is nice if you buy a packaged breakfast sandwich or something that needs to be warmed up. It's a small store but they have A LOT! Prices are the same as shopping at any other corner store or gas station. I love that they are open early (usually around 630). The store is always clean and organized. Staff are super friendly and nice. Just outside of the store they have seating via wooden table and chairs or just downstairs couches, more tables and chairs. They prefer you use cash but they do accept cards.

LOLBVVS The staff continue to change, but all are personable and professional. I do have my favs, but I hardly see them as much any more. The store continues to try different items for us to try out, which I appreciate. They've also encouraged us to use cash by giving a discount to patrons who utilize cash vs credit cards. Their prices can be a little high at times, but I chop it up to the convenience of having a convenience store within our work building and not having to run up the block to Target, since they relocated Walgreens down a few blocks.
