It all started with the call to make appt , the lady on the phone was rude , like she did not want to work at 420 pm and take my information, i called again spoke to a man that help me with it, but when it came to to the office visit , again the lady at the desk could not look into my eyes the only words to start a conversation was "YES",so i told her who i was and she again stated fill this out (tablet) and bring back to me , wow the nurse and the tech where fantastic and i told them my concern . I am disgusted by this place. My girlfriend had horrible anxiety attack when they were trying to get her in the machine. I waited outside for her and I hear the staff laughing and joking about her situation and then proceeded to make jokes about other patients. It was absolutely disgusting and makes me so upset that there are people like this. NEVER GO HERE!!!! Management, please speak to your employees who were doing the MRI on 3/29/25 for the 9am appointment for the 21 year old woman. Do better. read more

This review is for the front desk, specifically the heavy set girl with the glasses and the other two young ladies that were working on the evening of 05/27/2022. They were being very unprofessional, talking about personal things while patients were sitting in the waiting room and speaking very loudly. I overheard the young man that was working the front desk with them call one of the young ladies, Melissa. The young man was the only one keeping to himself although, there was another man chatting with the women. In fact, the young man working this evening was very kind. When an elderly women came in he actually offered to come to her and asked her to have a seat. The facility itself is nice and the techs/doctors are great. read more

You guys need to be more organized during snow emergencies. I called at 8:15 to enquire about my 10:30 appointment. I was told it was still on, i arrived at 10 o'clock to find 3 people waiting at the door. I called the office to find out that they were closed for the day. More patients arrived who weren't informed until after the time of their appointments. I received my call after I had left. Having patients come out in the snow for no reason is not safe. Canceling appointments should have atleast 2 hours or notification. Do better! read more

I had a CT Chest Lung Screening done one week ago and it is now a Friday night and since Radiologists do not read results on weekends I will continue to wait for results. I was told to go to NYU Radiology and wish I had everyone seems to get their results in no less than 3 DAYS. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE THEY SUCK!!! My second visit in the past 2 weeks. Great prompt service and friendly staff. I walked in with no appointment at 7:45pm on Tuesday. I was greeted warmly and asked for my script, ID,& insurance Card. No rush whatsoever. I was brought in to have an x-ray and was finished with the whole process in 10min.They also have beautifully colored pens to fill your forms out with. And when you leave, you get to keep the beautiful bag you put your clothes in. BONUS! read more

Horrible. The technicians were nasty and unprofessional because I refused to be exposed to more radiation and opted for an ultrasound which was recommended by my doc. They tried all they could to bully me into doing an exam that I already did and didn't want to do again. They tried scaring me by saying an ultrasound was not going to detect anything. They even said my insurance would not cover the exam and lied saying my doc did not fill out a prescription. Totally false. They changed my appointment so that a radiologist could read my results in a timely manner. That did not happen. I still have not gotten my results. I was spoken to as if I was uneducated and misinformed. I have been working in the medical field for 20 years. It is sick and sad to know they treat other people this way who do not know any better. read more

She yelled at me to put mask over nose before I even walked in the waiting room! I have no problem doing that but someone who has health problems at the moment relax for a min! Let me sit down. I've had 2 total knee Replacements and had to go to this location and have a special MRI done! First time a young man named Anthony performed the MRI, the night before my surgery at 6PM, he calls me to go back and have it done again! I didn't go and that resulted in delays next day prior to surgery! This time when I went back, I told Anthony again about my nightmarish experience and begged them to do it right! Sure enough I get a call 2 days before my 2nd knee Replacement from Anthony and same story all over again! This is a very dated old dirty place like a factory just collecting money and couldn't careless about any type of service! read more

I was sent here by my mother's doctor to have an x-ray of the hip taken of my 86 year old mom after a fall. After speaking with person taking the x-ray she told me that it would be marked stat so that doctor would get results that day. I waited from 1pm to 5:30 pm then contacted the doctors office and was told that they had not heard from Zwanger. I contacted Zwanger and was told that because it was not marked stat the results would not be available for 24 to 48 hours even though i insisted that I needed them right away. I wound up having my mom taken to a local hospital that after taking another x-ray informed me that she had a fractured bone in hip area. This resulted in her getting an emergency operation with a metal wire and screws to fix the problem. At this time I had forgottent about Zwanger. Three days later I get a call from the doctor's office informing me that according to Zwanger my mom's x-ray was fine no fracture. So unless the hospital made a terrible mistake that I very much doubt because they also took an MRI prior to operating it was Zwanger that after three days made a mistake. I would advise to anyone that needs their type of serveses to stay away from Zwanger I know I will. I'm giving one star because I can't give them any less read more

I had ultrasounds on a Thursday, was told they would be in my portal the following day and told them I would be seeing my doctor on Monday for the results. The tech said that I would be able to see them right away. I spent the weekend anxious and worried only to come in to see my doctor today and find that Zwanger didn't send them over. The doctor called and they didn't seem to care when they nonchalantly told my doctor they still weren't ready. My own doctor said that this was ridiculous. I shouldn't have to chase them to get results. Will make sure to use BAB radiology in the future. read more

If you have a serious medical condition, I would think twice before trusting Zwanger-Pesiri to get your testing done. They have zero compassion. I was under the impression that if it was a bigger company, the service would be better and more professional. But at all levels, I've had a bad experience. Laura in the billing department in the Lindenhurst office (id 4159) had a terribly condescending attitude when I called to get more information about my balance due. I called back to speak to a manager, but got put on the line with someone else with an equally "don't care" attitude. This speaks volumes about the company as a whole, and how little they care about their customers. Medical bills are not easy to understand - so when a customer calls to get more information about the bill, it is your job to explain it since you're the one that sent the bill. If it was a couple of hundred dollars, I would have paid without a call to get more info. I would strongly advice Zwanger-Pesiri to provide more coaching to their customer facing employees who don't understand what good customer service can do to a business. I've got a couple of tests done here in the past, and my experience in getting the tests over to my doctor have not been smooth either - they said my reports would be sent to the doctor directly. After waiting 2 weeks, I found out that they only sent the written report, and they will not be mailing the CDs to the doctor, so I had to pick it up and drop it off at the doctor's office (which made it difficult since I was out of town travelling thinking that the doctor would have my report by the time I got back). This could have been conveyed to me earlier so that I would have dropped off the reports to my doctor before I left town. The wait time for my first visit was well over 2 hours. The second visit was in and out, but that was the only positive to my second visit. I was willing to look past the issues with my reports, but after the experience I had with the billing department, I will not be getting any more tests done here. read more

The entire staff was so sorry for the wait and felt so bad since I had to fast for 8 hours for my tests. Very clean place. They explained that the MRI machine is wider than before and how long it would take. The tech played the music I liked while I was in the MRI and kept talking to me asking if I was alright. I had explained that I had become a little claustrophobic. This time it was a pleasant experience and I was fine. I highly recommend this Lindenhurst office. read more

The staff was friendly and kept checking on me during the procedure i went in at 9:00 in February and everything was perfect. They gave me an interesting cd of my knee. I think Zwanger Pesiri Radiology is the best radiology clinic on long island and i will always go there for anything. read more

But the second time when I came 15 minutes late I was chastised for being late and made to wait another hour because there was a patient before me while it was late! I have had numerous tests done at Z/P. Most of the time the wait time is less than 15 minutes. I have read reviews on here about wait times, well how long would you wait to see your Dr.? If you had to wait an hour to see your private Dr, would you bash him on a web site page & then find another Dr. I have found Z/P to be very professional, their staff very friendly. My chief complaint with them is you have to keep filling out the same forms over & over again. Each time you go they hand you the same forms. They found my Cancer while doing another procedure. How lucky was I? Very lucky that the person doing the test saw something & instead of bypassing it zeroed in on it & actually saved my life. I was there to have a different test completely. They were not getting paid to look for something in a different area. I think someone is jealous of Zwanger/Pesiri because they just opened another location. There hours are flexible to accommodate everyone. Opened even on Sundays. I just called for an ultra sound yesterday & was told to come right in, I love their patient portal, I can get my results within a few days. If there is a serious problem they don't let you leave until they speak with your Dr. Let's be real here EVERY office is going to have that one person. Z/P is no different. You can't fault an entire company based on one person. So if you have to wait you have to wait--it 's up to you to decide what is more important a wait time or results of a test your Dr. thought was necessary for your health. Nobody is tying you to the chair. It's your choice to remain there. I just wish they would get a better system with their forms. That's my only problem with Zwanger Pesiri. If my medical history changed or insurance changed It would be up to me to inform them. Filling out the same questionnaire over & over again is just a waste of time. They already have you & your history logged into their data base, That is the only thing I would change. I give Zwanger & Pesiri a thumbs up when it comes to their patients (except for their medical forms) lol. I recommend them all the time plus I think I have every color pen they have lol. read more
