The broker doesn't seem to want to return my texts or phone calls. A shame they didn't want to do business.

We utilized Zweiacker & Associates (Jennifer Bryan - aka JenniFred) when we purchased our home, and of course called them back when it was time to sell our home. We were frazzled - trying to buy a place out of state, trying to get our son settled in college, terminally-ill mother, all. Our household was a wreck. They worked with us, around us, for us in ALL the ways it helped. Our lawn guy was slow responding - they had their guy do our yard. Our handyman was delayed; they arranged for theirs. It was important for us to know all we didn't to fix in advance - I didn't want to put a lemon on the market. They arranged for pre-inspection, repairs, painting, etc. We left a mess moving out, so they arranged for thorough cleaning, then repainting/repairs. We left stuff at the house (in a rush); JenniFred took care of packing and prepping it for us to transport. The staging was AMAZING! All of our neighbors were in awe. It's INCLUDED in the commission - not an extra perk many places charge. We had ideas, and they listened to us. But they also have a very experienced team and we so trusted their judgment. Naively we thought and planned to do a lot of the work ourselves. We did not anticipate the stress of coping with multiple fires (not the house sale). Placing this process in their more than capable hands was a RELIEF!!!! If we are ever in a position to relocate back to Aggieland, JenniFred and Zweiacker & Associates are the only folks we'll call to rep us. read more

Ah, where to start. This was probably the jankiest (yes, it's a word) real estate deal of all time. It starts with moi, finding the perfect house. First time buyer and about to get married, so it's a really awesome experience to look forward to right? Wrong. Dead wrong. When I was told Greg (the owner) would be taking care of me, I'm thinking great! I'm under the bosses good guise. Wrong again. Long story short, don't use Zweiacker. read more

Came to the table with a plan to stage and market the home, implemented the plan and quickly got us a buyer at a price significantly higher than another agent wanted to list at. Only time I have worked with a realtor on a sale and felt like they earned the commission in two ways--higher sales price and lower stress. A team is only as strong as its weakest link, and man does this team have a customer service issue! I was all smiles and cheer working with Ashley and Greg to find my house. The day it was listed, i knew it was the one, and contacted them for an immediate viewing. They were convinced they could find me something better, and took me to see a few that were "going to be snatched up in a day", but ended up agreeing that mine was the best of the bunch, and convinced me to put in a full price offer. I regret that a bit, but I'll never know what would have happened otherwise. The disaster started once they threw me to Betty. She apologized once to me for her behavior, with an excuse about a family problem, but she never improved. She was openly hostile and feverishly disagreeable. Any opinions I had about my own house (that I loved) she would argue with. She got really upset when I was instructed by family (sister is a realtor) to hire extra inspectors to check plumbing and asbestos. My expensive plumbing inspector from Austin was amazing, and caught $3k worth of improperly installed gas lines that were a fire hazard (which, incidentally, was not part of what he was paid to inspect, but was so obviously wrong he had to point it out - and yet the home inspector the team hired missed it). The issue was fixed by the buyers, and I asked the plumber to come back out from Austin to check it on closing day. Betty met the green tag inspector at the house, and it passed (it had passed the first time too), then I arrived to wait with her for the Austin guy. Her first words were "it got the green tag, can you sign the papers?" I, of course, explained that Austin was driving pretty far, and we were going to wait to hear from him if that was ok. She did not disguise her huff and I suffered long periods of continued bullying jabs as we waited. The gas lines passed, and I signed the papers. As it was my first home purchase, i was expecting a congratulations or something positive and fun, but she just stormed off. I requested a call when someone would be returning with the keys, because, again, as my first home I was excited about the key handoff - and explained as much. I literally told her i wanted to meet up with whoever brought the keys because that moment would mean a lot to me... I got a text a few hours later that the keys were in the shed. I don't care if i was the pickiest client with the most inspections on record. I know I wasn't the rudest client, because I was euphoric about my house, and kept being shocked by how she reacted to me (I know when I've inflamed a situation, vs just trying to do the right thing with the largest purchase I've ever made! At no point did i do anything to warrant this treatment). Regardless, it's the customer service industry. Their entire job is to facilitate the purchase as a go between from the buyer to the sellers agent. How can you possibly come to work with anything but a smile and willingness to bend over backwards for your clients? It's not an expensive house, so maybe i just wasn't good enough for her standards of care. As a vet, I deal with truly horrible people on a regular basis. If I can keep it civil when i have to put down a dog with a ruptured bladder from being kicked, I'm pretty sure she could have exerted a tiny bit of effort to deal respectfully with me. Whatever the cause, it ruined my first home buying experience. My skin crawled when i had emails from her, and does to this day. Started out ok, but went horribly wrong at closing. I wish they allowed for just one agent for the whole process. read more

Have rented, built, bought & sold several houses in the BCS area. I've hired and know several good realtors in the area. I had the pleasure of meeting Jen and her team, who listed our most recent house for us. In sum... They're not good... they're great. When it came to meeting and devising a plan/listing price, having her team stage the house, photography, weekly updates, marketing the home during a tough selling period, and even having sub contractors ready to make small fixes to the home during the contract phase, the entire process was first class. My daughter and son in law were the highest bidders on a great property. This agent convinced the seller to accept a lower offer to avoid having to deal with a pre-approved VA Ioan with a guaranteed 30-day close. Either my daughter and son in law were discriminated against for using a military benefit that the American people wanted them to have or the property couldn't measure up to the stricter VA standards, buyers and sellers should be wary of this unethical agent. read more
