this is a lovely little restaurant w such a charming ambiance and great service. there are intentionally only 8 tables inside to maintain that intimate attentive atmosphere. we didn't have a reservation but luckily someone was a no show and we were able to be seated
despite its name, the char siu was not bbq but a braised pork belly dish, very reminiscent of dong po rou for any of my chinese food lovers out there. we were also given cheese croquettes and amaretto sours on the house which were lovely. the beet hummus was my dad's favorite but i overall found the food to be a little too mild for my palette read more
