Jan's is a staple in Costa Mesa, so I'm happy I got to try it! I ordered Jan's Classic Sandwich with chicken salad, and chips on the side. Was a solid sandwich, and would likely get it again, but nothing super special about it. A good sandwich, and even better when eaten on the beach. I liked how there were 3 side options: chips, fruit, and pasta. I especially liked that the chips were tortilla chips served with salsa! The chicken in the chicken salad was chopped/minced super finely and had good flavor. Lots of people came in and went straight to the pick-up window, so they must do great business with online and take-out orders! I'll definitely be back to try a smoothie! read more
