This is a very delayed review as I thought I already wrote one! We dined at Back Room Steakhouse over the summer after learning about it from Orlando Weekly. We don't go to Apopka much at all but it sounded good so we figured we'd take the drive out there. Back Room is very unassuming, it's located in a modest shopping plaza, easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. My boyfriend and I each ordered an Old Fashioned (they have many varieties of Old Fashioneds if thats your thing) and elected to do the Bite30 menu. Like I said, this review is overdue but Bite30 includes an appetizer, entree and dessert. We each ordered our meals and bread was also delivered to our table. The portions of all items were great and the taste was excellent too. We both got steaks (because you kind of have to at a steakhouse, right?) which were cooked correctly and I got the short rib egg rolls for appetizer. My BF got the coconut shrimp for his app, we were both impressed! I'm so happy that we learned about Back Room, its a bit of a drive but now we know it's worth it! read more
