I live in a place that has amazing sushi, aka Hawai'i, so whenever I travel my bar for sushi is set extremely low, especially when it's reasonably priced. I came to Mr. Sushi Lonsdale and was pleasantly surprised by our whole experience. Our group ordered everything from nigiri to over-the-top fancy rolls to udon noodles, and everything came out quickly and presented perfectly. It's a casual spot where you don't have to feel overwhelmed if you're not a sushi expert, and also won't break your wallet so you can feel free to experiment if you're a sushi newbie. Best sushi I've ever had? Not by a long shot. Totally decent and would I come back? Absolutely! Great spot for a date night or just want a break from doing the dishes.
