I ordered to go bento box of Chicken cutlet which includes California rolls, tempura, salad and miso soup. I was glad to find a option non-teriyaki version in bento and surprisingly they have lots of variety of food in the box. Beside of salad (dressing aside), there was a stir fried vegetable under the cutlet. Tempura dipping sauce tasted original because too much mirin though. Chicken cutlet was very thin almost like a ham. The cutlet batter and chicken were almost same volume. I had enjoyed varieties in the box but quality wise, it was not great. Especially the main dish in the box was supposed to be chicken cutlet... :(

Super good food - we ordered the Chirashi bowl and the presentation was beautiful! We also ordered bento boxes and it was fair pricing with a good variety of food. Service was phenomenal. Really appreciated them accommodating our large group of kids. They were super thoughtful and to supply us with napkins without us asking. Ambience was casual and clean. The bathroom was kept pretty clean and the staff were efficient. Would definitely come back. Parking is a bit tough but hey you are in Vancouver

Delicious food. We had the wild salmon sashimi and it just melts in your mouth. Service was so quick too!

I stopped by for a quick lunch on a weekday The restaurant was not too busy so I was seated right away The dining room is spacious with a modern decor I ordered 2 rolls - Snow White roll, chopped scallop roll and a piece of tuna nigiri. The snow white roll was nicely presented, with scallops lightly torched. They even had gluten free soy sauce with is a bonus

We came here to grab some food before drinks as we didn't want to have alcohol on an empty stomach and the food was alright. I got the mango smoked salmon roll and felt that it was a bit too mango in taste. I do give them props for not cheapening out on the mango sauce and it was actual mango purée.

Excellent Japanese restaurant. Ambience is so cozy and trendy. The food was delicious and very fresh ingredients. Portions were very generous and at affordable prices. The manager Yunna was very profesional and friendly and in general the service was very good. Nice place to visit with family or friends. The Mr Sushi Bento box and chicken teriyaki plate were delicious . Hardly can't wait to go back.

The sushi, sake and service were great! The only negative for me was the rice was too cold and sweet.

Have you ever judged a place based on its name? I know the old saying, "Don't just a book by its cover," but in the restaurant world that means maybe not judging something by its dingy exterior or putting too much stock in a sparkling facade. No, this is different: I mean just by its name. You might be tempted to do that with Mr. Sushi. It's not my favorite name, but it turned out to be a nice spot. Miss Sushi? I dunno much about her. Mrs. Sushi? Nowhere to be found. But Mr. Sushi is here and he's making a statement: I'm here, so come and get your sushi on. We saw a little of everything. The sashimi was the standout for me. These were girthy, thick slices of fresh beautiful fish. Just exactly what I wanted--too bad I didn't order them myself--but I did get to sneak a slice. Perfect. I ordered the nigiri sampler, which was a crazy amount of food. Everyone else gave me the ol' "Of course we'll have some" but when my plate arrived (some time after everyone else head already been served) they weren't interested. I was stuck with a whole plate of it. Mr. Sushi is an insistent fella, so I managed to get it all into my sushi loving gullet, but that's a lot of food. This is not a complaint, at all. Just know that if you preceeded dinner with a cheese plate at the hotel, you're going to get full with the sampler. It's not super fancy pants inside, and I like that. It's still waiter service, but it's more trendy than romantic (perfect for our work group) and Mr. Sushi is pretty efficient. Gracias, Señor Sushi!

Takeout only due to Covid but the quality is awesome. Staff is nice. I ordered online and picked up the bags then went straight to the Lonsdale Quay deck. Total bill is $88 that could feed 3 people. Massive portion and dynamite flavor. Highly recommend. Definately come back for more sushi choices.

Great place with quick service. Felt very clean as well. I had the negitoro aburi sushi and it was great (the people sitting next to me recommended it) Also had the special dynamite roll and was what you would expect. Not much parking around on a nice day, but you'll find something!

A provided high-chair was very dirty and I spent several minutes cleaning it, since I'm not paid to clean it so I'm giving 1-star rating instead. Last time was the same actually. Water was not refilled and I was left with empty glass until the end. About food? I ordered one Karl's roll, tempura udon and chicken teriyaki. Karl's roll was good, nice mix of flavors. Udon has been served a few minutes before tempuras, but the whole thing was good in flavor anyway. Tempura was well fried, crispy, slightly oily but acceptable. Chicken teriyaki was very well done. Its skin was crispy while the chicken's meat was still tender and tasty. I'll come back anyway.

My daughter and I got hooked on to Acai bowls recently so this place was on my radar for awhile…read moresince I knew that they have Acai bowls on their menu. Managed to get to this place over the weekend. Having tried this place I think we've tried pretty much every spot on the North Shore now that serves Acai bowls. This was a pretty good one. A good combination of ingredients in the bowl. Not too big a serving, but not too small a serving either. Super tasty! The bowl actually looked a bit on the small side to me when I got it. After eating it though, I felt more than sufficently filled. My daughter got the Berry Bliss Acai while I got the 'Ohana Luv Acai. My bowl had some kind of bright blue sauce on it. Wish I'd asked what made it blue. We both ordered drinks as well. My daughter had the 5 Moons Chai and I had the Healer. Whoa...they are quite heavy handed with using ginger in their drinks. I enjoyed my drink but I think there was too much ginger for my daughter's taste. It was like the kind of ginger drink that I sometimes boil at home when one of us gets sick and we need something to soothe our sore throat. Recommend the Acai Bowl. I'd be wary of the warm tonic drinks. Great if you like ginger! Uggghh, they took away free parking on Lonsdale Ave.! I had to park a bit further off just to find a one hour free parking spot.

It was almost impossible to not get one of everything! After a long travel day, my hubby and I got off the Seabus and walked straight up the road to Buddha-Full. Here's what our 1st visit looked like: * Bohemian Soul Bowl (excellent) * Wild At Heart Bowl (so good I got this again the next day after tackling the Grouse Grind!) * Be Green Smoothie (refreshing, fresh, loved that it had spirulina) * Raw Cinnamon Roll (had to try it, was like cinnamon cookie dough) As mentioned, we came back the next day after hiking Grouse Grind, hitting the spot again in the best way! 2nd visit was all about: * Wild at Heart Bowl (again!) * Coastal Vibes Bowl (another winner) * The Grind smoothie (in honor of just completing Grouse Grind) * Soul Starter (warm tonic with loads of health properties) * Tiramisu (because it was my husband's birthday that day!) The staff here was very friendly both visits, and we can't wait to come back the next time we're in town! Big thank you to the lady (possible one of the owners or managers) who noticed we were overcharged for one of the items and corrected it while we were enjoying our meal. Thanks so much!

It's in a cute house. Feels more spacious, brighter and I love the Greek tunes they play in the background! I ordered the Briam which was baked eggplant topped with mixed vegetables, tomato sauce and feta. It came in a piping hot casserole dish and retained its heat all throughout the meal. It was accompanied by roast potatoes and Greek salad. One of my favourite parts of a Greek meal is always the lemon roasted potatoes. Honestly, I feel that the lemon flavor could have been stronger in these roast potatoes. I could probably make it better myself at home. I still enjoyed the potatoes but I do wish it had been more lemony. The Briam wasn't bad but I wasn't blown away by it. Don't think it's something I need to order again. There was a Mezze taster for 2 on the table. I tried some of the tzatziki and hummus from the Mezze platter with pita bread. Super yummy! I was surprised to see so few Vegetarian symbols on the menu. They have for example, a Veggie Moussaka on the menu but there's no Vegetarian symbol next to the Veggie Moussaka. It sounds like it should be a vegetarian dish. Otherwise, why bother having 2 different versions of the Moussaka on the menu. Spanakopita is another dish which I would think is vegetarian. Surprised there's no vegetarian symbol next to that dish either. I saw Ek Mek on the dessert menu. I never knew about this dessert for a long time but finally got introduced to it years ago at a Greek restaurant in New Westminster and was totally hooked on it. Would love to come back to Mythos and try their Ek Mek sometime! Service: Good Parking: Free parking on the street

The experience featured a solid selection of classic Thai dishes, though the service fell short of expectations. Appetizers Deep-Fried Calamari The calamari arrived warm with a crisp, golden exterior. While the texture was well-executed, the seasoning was somewhat underwhelming. The accompanying dipping sauce was decent but lacked depth, offering little to enhance the overall flavor. A more vibrant or spiced sauce could have elevated the dish. Rating: 7/10 Satay Chicken Skewers The chicken skewers were a standout. Tender and well-marinated, they were packed with flavor and complemented by a creamy, well-balanced peanut sauce. The slight char on the edges added a welcome smokiness. Rating: 8/10 Tom Kha Coconut Soup with Prawns This soup was a highlight of the meal. The rich coconut broth was fragrant, with notes of lemongrass and galangal creating a perfect balance of creaminess and spice. The prawns were plump and cooked just right, adding to the dish's overall appeal. Rating: 8/10 Main Course Panang Curry with Basa Fish Fillet & Prawn Stir-Fry The Panang curry was velvety and aromatic, coating the tender basa fish fillet in a rich, coconut-infused sauce. The prawn stir-fry, featuring crisp snow peas, bell peppers, onions, and chili, was well-prepared, with the prawns retaining their natural sweetness and firm texture. Paired with coconut jasmine rice, the flavors were cohesive and satisfying. Rating: 8/10 Dessert Deep-Fried Banana with Vanilla Ice Cream A warm, crispy banana enveloped in a light batter, paired with smooth vanilla ice cream. While enjoyable, the dessert lacked an element of contrast or excitement, making it pleasant but not particularly memorable. Rating: 7/10 Drinks Complimentary Cordoniu Cava Clasico Brut Sparkling Wine A thoughtful addition to the Valentine's special, the sparkling wine was refreshing and paired well with the meal, offering a light effervescence to cleanse the palate. Ambiance The restaurant is spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, offering a comfortable setting for a casual meal or a special occasion. The warm lighting and traditional Thai accents contribute to a relaxed dining atmosphere. Rating: 8/10 Service Service was a weak point during this visit. While the staff was polite, attentiveness was lacking. Basic requests, such as water refills, were delayed, and no one checked in on our meal. A more proactive and engaged approach from the team would have significantly improved the experience. Rating: 5/10 Price The Valentine's Day set menu was well-priced, offering a good variety of dishes at a reasonable cost. Given the portion sizes and overall quality, it provided solid value. Verdict Thai House Restaurant delivers well-executed, flavorful dishes in a pleasant setting. While the food met expectations, the inconsistent service detracted from the overall experience. Despite this, I would return to explore more of their menu, hoping for a more refined service experience in the future.
