Seaport needed this place. Serafina is a great alternative to the stuffy steakhouses around every corner. We came here as a couple, one of us is vegetarian. We were impressed by the menu choices and quality of the food. The restaurant itself is bright and airy, so comfortable that we stayed for extra cocktails after our meal. The staff were attentive and friendly but still gave you room to enjoy and relax. Shout out to our server Elizabeth who helped to level up what we thought was going to be a casual meal to the highlight of our weekend.
Here's what we had:
Appetizer: Bruschetta - delicious and fresh. Reminded us of one we had in Italy that we still talk about to this day.
Mains: Funghi Pizza and Pepperoni Pizza - best pizzas we have had in Boston. Thin, Italian crust with high quality ingredients. The fact that we could watch it being made from the pizza kitchen made it even better.
Side: Fries - these are fresh cut and you can taste it. We couldn't get enough.
Cocktails: Margarita and apricot smash - both delicious. I had the extra spicy margarita which was as good as it sounds.
Highly recommend this place. Great to have it in the seaport neighborhood and looking forward to many more visits. The only room for improvement was that the Al fresco dining space wasn't set up when we came, hopefully it will be when we return! read more
