Update: I came back to try other dishes. This time I tried the efo riro (spinach stew), and the fish pepper soup. Both delicious, but wow both were pretty spicy! And I didn't ask for spicy, so this is their default spice. So if you can't handle spice, definitely let them know so they can adjust!

So happy to see a Nigerian restaurant open up in Temecula! I came specifically to try their fufu and egusi. It was a busy day, so I only took a small taste at first. I thought it was just okay on the first bite, but after mixing it and letting it sit for a few hours, the flavors really melded and became even better. It was delicious! The egusi has a nice kick, too. I'm sure they can make it without spice, but I feel like whatever they use to add that spice gives it even more flavor.
They had many dishes on their menu that I've never tried before, so I'm excited to come back and try them all. The restaurant is very clean. The service was a little slow, but I think the sweet lady working there was just busy prepping since it seemed like she was the only one there when my husband came in to pick up the order. read more
