Place and service is good. The guy laid back and chill. Suya soo yummy and super spicy with a nutty flavor. The guy said spice level 3 for me it was very hot but cant stop eating. You have to eat it with toothpick and raw onion. Meat and raw onion nice combo. Ogbono stew with fufu mango seed stew rich, thick, slimy yummy. The Fufu (swallow) taste good by itself, smooth and nice to eat with your fingers with the stew even better. Goes down your throat real nice. The guy working wasnt sure if I was gonna like it but I said thats exactly what I want hehehe. Jollof rice with chicken suprisingly good. We are used to a more tomato favor this one has a smoky flavor really good. Last time I was here enjoyed the Egusi with fufu. Came back with my family they liked it. I get to try more food. Next time looking forward to mixed pepper soup and yam porridge. Have a nice day!

When I heard this place opened up close by I had to check it out. I've always wanted to try Fufu. Inside is cute and spacious. The art on the wall is cool, they have some dry foods on the shelf you can purchase. Most menu items were 25-30$ each. This to me was expensive, but I wanted to try it at least once. The staff is welcoming and polite. The Efo Riro was spiced nicely and ibloved the Fufu, I'd like to try it with a more soupy stew. The smokey jollof rice was VERY smokey so if you like smokey flavor get that. Overall it was a fun experience to try Nigerian food, I enjoyed the flavors.

Absolutely delicious. I had the Efo riro stew with the fufu and it tastes homemade the flavors were amazing we will definitely be back.

    Efo riro

Lets start with ambiance: place looks like the hot dog place that used to be here but sprinkled with nigerian art. More importantly it was clean and welcoming. People define business, and we dined in and experienced good people. Service was great, the staff was sweet and attentive. One women seemed excited to share about the food and was genuinely interested in our opinion of it. Most important and exciting part: Food! Now I'm not nigerian lol but I am a huge foodie and can say that I know good food when I taste it. We got efo riro with beef and the jollof rice with chicken. Both were killer. The beef was a little on the tougher side but not a big deal for us, the chicken was great. The rice was extra smokey which is expected of for jollof rice. I loved it. We will come again hope they get more foot traffic we might take a picture with our empty plates next time when I dont have my dr peepee shirt on

Hi. I really hate to do this but My friends and I stopped by to try out the food. Unfortunately we had an unpleasant experience. I'm not sure why but the Jollof and the shrimp fried rice smelled and tasted like a cigarette . We ordered the Smokey Jollof rice $25 , shrimp fried rice $30, egusi $25, and suya beef $15. From the over powering smell of cigarettes from the rice it made everything else taste gross. We ended up throwing the food away. Less than 5 miles later my friend started aggressively throwing up due to the cigarette smell and taste. She has asthma and taste in her mouth triggered her asthma attack. This was such a traumatic experience. I really do hope they figure out the jollof. They are over burning it. It's not good at all. This was $100+ literally thrown in the trash :(

Whole entree smelled and tasted like an ashtray. They knowingly scooped up burned rice and hid it in the bottom. We dug in it and flipped it over. Hockey puck size burned portion, super hard. Were not very friendly or welcoming.

This is by far the best African food I have ever had!!! The fish pepper soup had such a huge portion of fish and the taste and spice was perfect. The suya was juicy while all the other places i have had it, it was dry and tough. The egusi and fufu with goat was the best I've had. I've had jollof rice before but this is the first 'smoked' jollof I've had. Such an incredible Smoky flavor and the chicken was juicy. I also tried the efo riro for the first time. It was very delicious. They make everything fresh, so it takes a little time but it is worth the wait. The young lady was taking orders, delivery food, doing takeout and phone orders as well, so please bbw patient with her. This place is definitely a gem and I will be returning for sure!!!

So happy they opened here! The jollof rice is the best I've had and I've been to multiple places. I just love the smokiness and the spice level is perfect. I got the chicken one and the portion was great and the chicken legs were big and juicy. I had the meat pie and ended up buying 2 more for the road because they were that good. Also, love that they have a little shop corner where you can buy some cooking staples such as palm oil and boxed fufu mix. The restaurant was very clean and Maria who helped my mom and I was so sweet as well.

Yeeesssss! A Nigerian food spot in Temecula FINALLY. So happy, the food was delicious, the service was great and quick! Ambiance was pretty nice in there as well. I only ordered the Egusi Stew and Fufu but I definitely want to go back and try more food

The collared greens was tasty, the yam reminded me of Hawaiian poi that was starchy and earthy. The beef could've been cooked better, though. It was really hard and tough to chew: I was a little disappointed. If the beef had been served tender and juicy (soaked in the collared greens sauce) I would've given 5 stars only because I don't think it was worth what we were charged for our dishes. Two pieces of beef that wasn't serving standard in my honest opinion. The store front is located in the food court of the Moreno Valley mall. There's a lot of dining tables and chairs throughout the food court and other food shops surrounding the dining court. There's tons of parking spaces and the mall wasn't very busy so parking is easy. I love African food and compared to my favorite spot in San Diego, this one is not on my list to revisit, unfortunately. Not for the price or quality.

Portions are generous and there is plenty of outdoor seating and parking in the area. There are a couple of indoor tables, but I'd recommend going when it's nice out so you can sit at the picnic tables in the middle of the traffic circle out front and watch the planes on final approach to SNA. It does get a bit loud since the airport is so close by. You order at the register and the food can take a little bit to come out depending on what dishes are ready to go. I decided on goat as a traditional option and went with the non-spicy jollof rice. The cashier also offered their habanero sauce with a warning about how hot it is. I'm not sure what the greens were, but they were mild and not bitter like collard greens. The plantains were a nice sweet treat to round out the meal.

I came here because I've been wanting to try Nigerian food for the longest time. I ordered through doordash their beef egusi that came with fufu. It was about $28 for one portion. They put the beef on the side and it was dry AF. The flavor was okay but it was difficult to swallow since it was so dry. The egusi unfortunately had a strong fishy smell to it that was off putting. The fufu was probably the best thing there. I also gave some to two other girls to try and they felt the same. Unfortunately I was very disappointed in everything and didn't even finish my meal. That is rare for me. I also didn't like that when I came my order wasn't ready. I think they didn't even see my order. This place is small and casual. The two ladies working there were nice. The foods look pre-made. They also sell some grocery items in store. There is a few tables and chairs inside and outside. It's located in a business area by the round about.

I have to preface my review by saying that my father is a Moroccan Amazigh (aka Morocco's version…read moreof Native Americans in the US). Naturally Moroccan food is something I grew up with, a comfort food, and something I am a bit critical of. I've dined at many Moroccan restaurants domestically and abroad. I've left pretty much all of those restaurants feeling that the food was average. Today Casablanca became the exception. My sister booked a reservation for Mother's Day and I was looking forward to a Moroccan meal at a restaurant I hadn't heard about. My expectations weren't high due to my prior experiences and Casablanca quickly surpassed that bar and every meal exceed my highest of expectations. We ordered bastilla with chicken and almonds, a honey lamb tangine, lemon chicken tangine (one of my favorite meals), couscous with a mix of skewers, lamb sausage couscous, sea bass, Baklava, crème brulee, stuffed dates, and ice cream. It's often the attention to detail in the simplest components that typically make something special. From the texture of the couscous to the lemon chicken sauce and how the green olives absorbed the flavor was perfect. Bastilla is a very tough dish for me to like due to me preferring savory over sweet. Finding the balance of the flavors is difficult and often what is missed. Today was the first time I went back for more bastilla outside of when my aunts cooked it. The lemon chicken was incredibly flavorful and the chicken was cooked perfectly. the Royal Couscous had various skews that were all delicious and tasted how you'd expect it to when the Moroccan aunties are getting down in the kitchen. I'm not a big lamb guy, but the lamb here wasn't gamey and fell off of the bone. The rest of the meals and desserts were equally delicious. The owner is an Algerian Amazigh and the staff was Moroccan and French. It is obvious they have a passion for what they do and truly care about their clients. My father speaks Tamazight, Arabic, and French. So he was able to speak to all the staff in their native language. The love and care they showed was wonderful and I'm sure they show this same warmth to all of their clients. I love out of a suitcase for work and get to try food in countless places. LA can spoil you, but it's often the holes in the wall that surprise you and not the trendy or more formal restaurants. Casablanca was an exception to the rule. It just became one of my favorite restaurants in SoCal. Thank you to the owner, friendly staff, and chef for making it even more special for my mom on Mother's Day. P.s. my mother is a Chamorro that has cooked Moroccan food for the last 40 years and is overly critical and as mentioned before my father is Moroccan. Both her and my father left the evening singing their praises and had some left overs when we got home. Sorry this was so long, thanks for coming to my ted talk.
