I'm going to be a bit critical probably because of my recent visit to Cattleman's steakhouse. I couldn't help but compare. This is a nice place to try and experience at least once. This steakhouse has a great location right on the side of the mountain with amazing views of northeast El Paso. The portion sizes are good but the seasoning was a bit off. I had the ribeye and the char looked good but it was not reciprocated once I began to enjoy my meal. My mother enjoyed her fajitas, but my wife was not very fond of the arrachera (which is the same meat). The Mac and cheese was unique and delicious. My sister and my brother-in-law had gigantic burgers that they pleasantly enjoyed. I guess the reason for my rating is that my first impressions of this steakhouse was that the standards and quality were going to be those of Chris Ruth's, Billy Crews, or of course Cattleman's. For a "steakhouse" this gets 3 stars so no one is mislead. Their menu has a variety of options; bbq, chicken, seafood, and burgers. Therefore, it would compete solidly with restaurants like Cheddars, Corralitos, and the like. Nice place but not to go out of your way for. read more
