This was the "filet mignon" and baked potato

Whew! Where to start honestly. Let me just say this is NOT the amazing Great American Steakhouse it once was. So now that I have that out of the way let's move on to the truth of the matter. My husband and I enjoy eating out, know great food and are willing to pay for it. So price was not an issue but this was out of line. It appears there are new owners but yet nothing has been updated in the restaurant. The tables, chairs benches all appear the same. So going upstairs the first thing we noticed was it was like 85 degrees and fans going at full speed. . We decided on chips and salsas to start, they never arrived. I had the 10oz "filet mignon", with Caesar salad and baked potato. That was NOT a filet mignon. It was more a sirloin that had grizzle and tendons. And it appeared like a frozen piece of meat that when cut looked like ground beef. It was nasty. No seasoning, wrong temperature and tough to cut. The potato was way overdone. It tasted like it had been sitting in the oven for hours. My husband's arrachera was wrong temperature and had a huge pile of grilled onions. Why? Why hide the meat under onions? I ordered a Paloma drink. It tasted like flat dishwater. Bartender needs some schooling. So as I said price is not an issue but when you charge me $38 for a "fake" cut of meat that tastes awful, I was not happy. As far as the staff. Someone came out of the kitchen holding a hamburger plate to take down to the bar. Kitchen staff. Wearing a filthy apron and pants. He just looked so dirty and all I could think of was "did he cook our food??!" Our waitress was nice, although she only checked on us once and she never once asked why my whole plate was pushed to the side and I wasn't eating. I would've explained. The final straw was going to bathroom on way out and in every corner there was dirt, screws(?) and trash. My final point is don't bother. Don't spend your hard earned money on such bad service, food and drink. What a disappointment. It was a sad anniversary dinner.

Good food, I like the outdoor patio.

Food is good . I like the outdoor patio. We hosted a comedy roast there for Iggy Samaniego.

I'm going to be a bit critical probably because of my recent visit to Cattleman's steakhouse. I couldn't help but compare. This is a nice place to try and experience at least once. This steakhouse has a great location right on the side of the mountain with amazing views of northeast El Paso. The portion sizes are good but the seasoning was a bit off. I had the ribeye and the char looked good but it was not reciprocated once I began to enjoy my meal. My mother enjoyed her fajitas, but my wife was not very fond of the arrachera (which is the same meat). The Mac and cheese was unique and delicious. My sister and my brother-in-law had gigantic burgers that they pleasantly enjoyed. I guess the reason for my rating is that my first impressions of this steakhouse was that the standards and quality were going to be those of Chris Ruth's, Billy Crews, or of course Cattleman's. For a "steakhouse" this gets 3 stars so no one is mislead. Their menu has a variety of options; bbq, chicken, seafood, and burgers. Therefore, it would compete solidly with restaurants like Cheddars, Corralitos, and the like. Nice place but not to go out of your way for.

Came for a bithday celebration, and the service, ambiance, and the food were better than I expected. From the get go we were greeted by a nice young lady that took us upstairs to a table that had a fantastic view of the city lights. All the servers were attentive asking if we were enjoying our evening even it was not their table. Great job Matt, Moises and Lucy. Mr. Juarez, the owner personally checks on every table. All that great service is only topped by the delicious food; the steaks were tender and cooked to our liking and their Mac and Queso will certainly put them in the map it's super good creamy and with lots of cheese with a hint of green chile.. yummy.. we will be back, great place for special occasions, but this will be my once a week treat for sure.. oh I forgot prices are fair for the big portions they serve

Poor and shocking. Carpet smelled. Expensive steak that was very thin. Seemed like no new decor. Hope it gets better.

Their steak nachos are a weekly staple for me! Portion sizes are usually pretty massive.

So, if you want to try any of their food or beverages you go to their website: https://www.urbanofoodgroupep.com/?l=en-US then select Urbano Sandwicheria and order. Last, select a time to pick up and method of payment. They accept apple pay and I love that. I ordered the day before because I get too busy during the morning. When you go pick up your food their establishment is located at the lower level of an office building. Park in the back of the building and you will be right there vs parking at the front and having to take the elevator down. Once you are there, your food will be bagged and available on a table with your name on it. I really liked that they had my food ready on time. So, it was an easy transaction. The office building were they are located has tables to eat on the 1st floor. By the way this place is super nice and I highly recommend if you need some quiet time. The food is affordable, healthy and tasty. I highly suggest if you are looking for a not heavy yet tasty lunch. The owner is related to the former Burritos Pampas owners. They deliver and do caterings. I loved their ice cream. #online-only #latinx-owned #latinx

My favorites: Jardín sandwich - I'm an omnivore, so I often add cheese or protein to this otherwise vegetarian sandwich, but it is really delicious on its own. I haven't had a sandwich like it elsewhere. Great flavor and great texture. And the red pepper flakes are pretty mild but add a tiny little kick, mmmm. I like it best toasted on the multigrain bread. Limeade - I buy a gallon every few weeks. Really great. I drink a little as is, but mostly cut it with some Pelligrino for a lighter, lower/calorie beverage. (And on occasion might cut it with some vodka or tequila!) The customer service is great. See note pictured - it's the second time I've gotten a note...and since the sandwich is delivered in a classic paper lunch bag, the note always reminds me of childhood, when my Dad would put a note or draw a face on my lunch. Funny to get as an adult, but kinda sweet!
