we got dinner at mw for our last night in oahu and the food did not disappoint!
we ordered the hokkaido scallops which was accompanied with a seafood fried rice and a creamy gravy. the fried rice was crispy and included small bits of crab, scallops, veggies, and the actual scallops were cooked perfectly and had a nice chew to it. we also got the miso butterfish which was amazingg and melted in the mouth (this was our favorite). the seasoning was sweet and salty and paired perfectly with fluffy white rice and banchan.
for dessert, we ordered a cherry jubilee which came with a cherry sauce, light sweet pastry, and vanilla ice cream. the pastry was a bit sweet for us but was nicely balanced by the ice cream and cherries which had some tang to it.
the only con we had was navigating to the restaurant and parking, which was really weird and a bit confusing (it was valet parking and basically all located in a dealership). that aside, we had a great dining experience and would recommend trying it out -- dessert is a must! read more
