Lovely new restaurant in Mokelumne Hill where Frank's Cafe used to be. Angie"s Place caters to the breakfast & lunch crowd with a good menu and decent prices. I met owners Angie & J.M. They are very personable. The restaurant interior has casual shabby chic design elements with freshly waxed floors, new paint and stylish wall art. The dining furniture is new consisting of tables & padded chairs.
The food was delicious, plentiful for a reasonable price. My husband and I had breakfast. I noticed the lunch menu shows tater tots as a side. Those are rare in California & I can't wait to go back for lunch sometime. They're new with great food, great service & great value. PS A little birdie says they will be serving a prime rib dinner special once a month... so, I'll be on the lookout for out for that. read more
