With the high standard of pho in the GTA area does this new branch Pho Metro hold its own? Upon entering you smell the aroma of the beef broth. The renovation is quite fancy for a pho restaurant.
The portion is good. The price is standard. The broth is good. Homemade chili is tasty (not spicy though). The same can be said for 90% of Vietnamese restaurant. Although it does everything right, I can't picture myself coming back in. It's just me, but I expect a Vietnamese restaurant to have the basic decors (feels more down to earth) of a Vietnamese restaurant.
Also, the curry brisket pho was more watery than their Lawrence Ave branch. read more
