This food truck, located on Old Bayshore Highway in San Jose, is serving up a simple but delicious menu of smashburgers, fries, and shakes. There were already a handful of people there when they opened at 6pm this past Saturday. I came a few minutes later, and there was no line to order. It took about 15 minutes or so for my items to be ready. Super friendly service, too. They offered a few tables and seating for dine-in, set up outside the entrance for the Mosaic Technology Center building. There's a small parking lot as well. Got a double burger and a chocolate milkshake with no whipped cream. The burger was saucy and cheesy, with flavorful beef and a perfect amount of fresh toppings. I got In-N-Out vibes from the burger, but Dough Burger's is slightly bigger and definitely better. The shake had an ideal consistency and tasted amazing, a nice chocolatey flavor with chocolate sauce, and chocolate sprinkles. No whip needed, I was in chocolate heaven. Love the late night hours, since it's way more convenient for my lifestyle and schedule, open till 1:30am, and even later on the weekends. I'd say the only downside is there's nothing around here, no restroom, no other neighboring businesses open at night, it feels like the middle of nowhere. But that didn't stop me from spoiling myself with the good stuff this past weekend. And I'll definitely be back for more. read more
