This was my first visit to Carrabba's in literally decades. This was my first attendance to one of their monthly cocktail dinners & it was absolutely marvelous. The food, the service, the cocktails & the ambiance were all top level. I have been to restaurants that charge much more for the same type of menu & the food we were served was far superior to any previous experience I had at other, so called more prestigious places. The efficiency with which each course was served was commendable & appreciated. The quality of food we dined on was the perfect intermingling of both textures & flavors. Each course was an adventure in satisfying Italian cuisine. The hostess of the event absolutely made the evening even more memorable. She was bright & bubbly. She was courteous & welcoming. There were prizes distributed throughout the event, which made for a very lively & fun atmosphere. Overall, the dinner felt like I was in Italy enjoying a boisterous family gathering, but not the overwhelming type. I look forward to attending more of these events. The hostess, hosting restaurant & our table mates made the night an experience I will never forget. read more
