My final review for 2025 is Slice 19!
What do we do on New Year's Eve? We talk about our plans and our New Year's resolutions, which is exactly what my friends and I did here over lunch. It's hard to believe that one minute, we're celebrating the entry of 2025, and the next year, we're about to ring in 2026. Time is going by incredibly fast these days and sometimes I can't keep up with it.
Slice 19 is located in the guard gated Chimera Golf Club and you must show valid ID in order to get in, which is very easy and very quick. My future in-laws live in a guard gated community elsewhere in town so I already know how these work lol. They're very easy to find and you can walk in and take a seat right away. Their patio has such an amazing view of the golf course in all directions...if only if it wasn't chilly and cloudy outside.
Although their big thing is pizza, I wanted something smaller and decided to go for their sliders, total of 3, with tater tots on the side. Other food items included were the cowboy burger (unbelievably huge with giant pieces of bacon inside!) and chicken wings with blue cheese. Some of my friends tried the Bloody Mary, which included a celery stick and an olive inside. For me, I just stuck with water. They also have a "beer tower" available, which is basically a beer on tap that they bring to your table. Great for large parties!
This was my first time at the Chimera Golf Club and Slice 19 and it was worth it. The sliders were excellent and even though it was a small dish, I still had to bring the rest home with me. That's how easily full I get when I eat at restaurants. read more
