My final review for 2025 is Slice 19! What do we do on New Year's Eve? We talk about our plans and our New Year's resolutions, which is exactly what my friends and I did here over lunch. It's hard to believe that one minute, we're celebrating the entry of 2025, and the next year, we're about to ring in 2026. Time is going by incredibly fast these days and sometimes I can't keep up with it. Slice 19 is located in the guard gated Chimera Golf Club and you must show valid ID in order to get in, which is very easy and very quick. My future in-laws live in a guard gated community elsewhere in town so I already know how these work lol. They're very easy to find and you can walk in and take a seat right away. Their patio has such an amazing view of the golf course in all directions...if only if it wasn't chilly and cloudy outside. Although their big thing is pizza, I wanted something smaller and decided to go for their sliders, total of 3, with tater tots on the side. Other food items included were the cowboy burger (unbelievably huge with giant pieces of bacon inside!) and chicken wings with blue cheese. Some of my friends tried the Bloody Mary, which included a celery stick and an olive inside. For me, I just stuck with water. They also have a "beer tower" available, which is basically a beer on tap that they bring to your table. Great for large parties! This was my first time at the Chimera Golf Club and Slice 19 and it was worth it. The sliders were excellent and even though it was a small dish, I still had to bring the rest home with me. I like coming here to get out of town some and my friend lives in the neighborhood. We often comes for a drink, dinner and sometimes music bingo. The last visit was less than optimal. The chicken wings were amazing and had a nice spice to them but not overly hot that they need to be dunked in the ranch. I was saddened that the cheese sticks were cold and the cheese was not melted at all. I let the waitress know and she apologized. Sadly, she went over to a coworker and the 2 of them chatting about how I waited too long to eat them and that they were cooked fine. They replaced them and the second batch were almost burnt but the cheese was actually warm and melted. I do recommend the BLT there as it is just a good BLT. read more

The total vibe in this place has changed over the last two months. They got new servers. People are happy. Servers are happy. It's been such a joy. Whatever management is doing to change the vibe of this place is working. The food has always been great. And now the service is matching. It's very clean and tidy. Once again, another successful luncheon at my home thanks to the catering of Slice 19! One call to Tiffany Burke and I received the menu and chose the Mexican Fiesta for six. Portions were typically plentiful and the food was delivered to my front door promptly by 1:00. There's nothing better than enjoying my guests without slaving over a hot stove! read more

It was Music Bingo night, and the restaurant was very busy. Service was right on, food was tasty, and the place was hopping!

Food has always been good, service as well but the lady that runs the trivia needs to be replaced. How can they allow someone so incompetent to consistently screw things ip. If the game isn't having connection issues due to lousy WiFi (?), she presses the wrong tab, shows answers before you have time to answer and continually messes up and then laughs like it's funny ? She's too busy eating, talking with the people at her table and not paying attention. The young man who ran it last week was stellar. Replace her. People pay for food and drink and expect the trivia to be run properly. She thinks it's a joke when she constantly screws up the game. No respect for their customers who come each week. read more

It is a nice place due to how convenient its location is to my house. I like being able to seat myself and the service is pretty nice. The quality of the food is hit or miss, and depending on how busy it is the wait can be a long time. read more

Loved the friendly and helpful staff who made a point to get to know their customers and take good care of them! Dogs are allowed on their outdoor patio with a view of the golf course. We live here in Tuscany and order from Slice 19 often. Tonight's pizza was one of the best we have had. Thin crust Toms favorite. Perfect balance of sauce, cheese and toppings! Slice 19 is the restaurant at the end of a round of golf you retreat to at Chimera or live in the community and want somewhere easy to go to. Food: the food here for the most part is good. It isn't somewhere I would ever go out of my way for but definitely worth eating at after a round of golf. The kitchen does a really good job and the portions are generous. During my last visit I had the calzone, it was huge!!! My son has the Ruben which he said was very good and my wife the chicken Caesar wrap which she said was ok. The French fries stole the show for me, they were delicious! Service: I have been here 8-9 times and the people are always friendly and helpful. On busy days it is often hard to get what you need because at times they are a bit understaffed. I consider this normal for this kind of establishment and it doesn't bother me as I just have to remind once in a while. Their friendliness and desire to do a good job ales any inconveniences not that big of a deal to me. Ambiance: ok, so this is a tough one. It is a golf course clubhouse that is in a manufactured building, think mobile home. I think for what it is they did well and they keep their prices reasonable. However it is far from the scenic views provided at other nicer golf courses like this one. Over all, I would say if you live close by or are golfing here and haven't been here you should definitely eat here. If you are thinking of traveling somewhere new for dinner and want a nice ambience and view, it is probably best to choose to go somewhere else or you might be disappointed. read more

Horrible food and drinks! Avoid this place at all costs! Ordered a pizza from them (and we live in Tuscany, so there wasn't much of a drive to deliver). Pizza arrived cold. Ordered pepperoni and pineapple but only got pineapple, no pepperoni! Tried to call to complain, but they won't answer the phone! Ordered Bloody Marys; worst we've ever had! I don't think there is a Manager there or, if so, they do a very poor job of managing. Wait staff are young, inexperienced and unprofessional. Bartender sucks, chef sucks....bad, bad BAD! I just don't get it. Does the owner not care or is he just outright incompetent. We've tried this spot about once a year for going on ten years and every time it's the same story... the service is absurdly slow, the waitstaff is incompetent, poorly trained, and repeatedly forgets things, and the food takes forever. The food isn't bad - it's average - but the service is just repeatedly terrible. It's clear that the owner has no pride in ownership here, at least of the restaurant portion of the club. Extremely rude server last night!! Being a regular customer and living in Tuscany for years we have spent a lot of money in this place. We went in there to get something to eat and watch a little bit of the Oscars. There were a few people at the bar gambling far away from us, and only one other couple next to us whom we were talking to also interested in watching with us. We turned up the volume on very, very low. The waiter came over grabbed the remote and turned off the sound. I told him he was really rude, that the tables were completely empty! The couple next to us, agreed and also said he was very rude. We left, going elsewhere to eat and watch the Oscars. The waiter should not be in a position that he works with customers. Ordered a pizza and gave it 50 mins before picking up since the website only had an 11am pick up choice at the earliest. I arrive and I'm told they haven't started making the pizza since they didn't have a time selected for pick up...I can only assume there's discrepancies with the website order intake system. I would imagine that the only reason this place stays open is because the folks in the neighborhood want a local watering hole. I have been to this place 5 times and had one decent meal. That was an ok steak. Maybe the manager just doesn't care. The last time I went, the waitress was terrible. She had to be asked to bring silverware. She had no clue as to what was not available on the menu. Two of us had salads and they were delivered WAY before the hot food items. Which made for an awkward dining experience. Then, when I bit into the absolute worst ribs that I have ever tasted and then told her to take them back, she didn't even offer to make it right. I had to tell her to take it off the bill, she gave me a look like that translated to her getting less gratuity. WTF? Drinks are good. So, I recommend that if you go there, just drink. The food is not worth the effort of walking in the door. I am a professionally trained chef and admit that I'm hard to please. But I can also recognize when the manager, the servers, and the cooks don't care. And these folks don't care about what is served. Which leads to other questions that might need to be addressed. read more

Absolutely disgusting that a restaurant would serve a grilled chicken sandwich with black rotten avocados. the server asked the cook why he would put that on a sandwich and his response was "they are all like that". unfortunately, I ate half the sandwich before I looked at the remainder. within an hour I had full blown food poisoning and vomited for hours.
