For those that know my reviews if there is anything that I am a big fan of, it's good food at a reasonable price. Taco Mahal fits that bill of delicious somewhat cheap eats. I've gotten their food to go countless number of times whether it be a chicken tikka with rice or paneer with rice or one of those options in roll format. Everything I've had has all been tasty and filling. The ambiance is pretty casual and I would compare it to like an Indian chipotle. The space itself is pretty tiny but seemingly always packed the many times I've gone. Orders get processed pretty quickly. I don't think I've ever had to wait more than 10 minutes for my to go food order. The West Village has lots of great casual spots that are delicious and Taco Mahal is one of them. read more
