We went walking around Washington Square Park during the 2026 Winter Storm. Looking for a place for cafe mocha we were so happy La Lanterna was still open after all these years. We went there when we attended NYU in the late 1970s-1980s. I had a panini which was excellent and cafe mocha, which could have been hotter but still tasted good. So happy that a classic is still around. Great service and the ambience is an old style Italian cafe. read more
