Hackney's on Harms Rd. is a wonderful little restaurant for a good meal with the family. It's just a much more condensed version with a smaller sized restaurant and menu than the one on Lake Ave. It is also very casual too. When we got there last night around 7pm which is a little late for dinner it was still very crowded. We waited about 15 min to be seated. There seemed to be alot of regulars who dine here. I would say if you came for a first time, you might be confused like I was of what the draw is. The atmosphere is quaint and seats are very close together, borderline too close. The food was actually pretty good, and I would say it reminded me of diner food. Not amazing but consistent and homey. Sometimes that's just what people are in the mood for like we were. The service was very good. Our waitress was on top of everything and we never ran out of drinks. Everyone was satisfied with what they got too. When the weather gets nice I was told there is outdoor seating available. I would go back again to enjoy that! read more
