Updating my review because since posting it, multiple former workers and even family members of workers have privately reached out to me saying they experienced similar issues with delayed or missing pay from this business. One person told me they waited over a year and another said their husband also was not paid fully or on time. I personally worked at the San Francisco location and, despite repeated promises over several months, I was never fully paid for my work. I was told multiple times that payment was coming "tomorrow," "by Monday," or once their permits, merchant accounts, DoorDash/Uber Eats systems, and payroll issues were fixed. I have text messages confirming all of this, including acknowledgment that I worked, that I was owed pay, and that I was supposed to receive $20/hour plus tips. I was also told tips would be paid as an end-of-month bonus, which I never received. After waiting around 4 months and trying to handle this privately and patiently, I ended up filing a wage claim/small claims case. Everyone I personally worked with was kind and I had no issues with coworkers or customers. My issue is strictly with not being paid for the hours I worked. I believe potential employees deserve to know this before accepting a job here. just a reminder if you want to support small businesses support the ones that do good. he was served court papers and never showed up. do not let this slide chris. you now owe over 4k legally due to not paying me and others!!! i won't forget. they won't forget. and i'll make sure YOU do not forget. read more
